Master Beijing Walker, I have visited China a few times, Shanghai is an amazing city, would love to visit more for business and travel.

What is your opinion on Chinas growing Aggression and the possibility of it slowing down tourism and business opportunities? Also do you know of the status of inbound travel whether people need to quarantine or not?

I think Shanghai is a soulless city with a history no more than 100 years old, Shenzhen is even younger. If you want to see authentic Chinese culture, skip those new emerging cities.

Xi' new policies are indeed not business friendly, many new policies are very hawkish and hostile to foreigners living in China, but I believe it's a short term thing, hopefully he would be gone next year.

I think Shanghai is a soulless city with a history no more than 100 years old, Shenzhen is even younger. If you want to see authentic Chinese culture, skip those new emerging cities.

I found Shanghai to have a great bar scene and feels alive 24/7, that's part of the travel I like, there is just so much to do, although can be overwhelming if you don't speak mandarin or have local Chinese friends, particularly once leaving the touristy areas as I found out myself.
Later down the track I would look into seeing the great wall and other historic places.

Shenzhen and Guangzhou are great for business, or at least were until these days. Not sure if I can even get in early next year.

Different folks for different strokes, Beijing has 7 world heritage sites, Shanghai has none, it's just a new city of 100 years old.
