It was a brilliant move to join UN on such a level. It openned up many doors with regard to defence equipment acquirement and such.

Bangladesh Army got its first female Brigadier General -- Nazma Begum -- from medical administration (non-specialist).
Brig Gen Nazma was also the first female field ambulance commander in the history of Bangladesh army, according to a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR).
She was the first female assistant director of medical services and was also the first female contingent commander in the history of United Nations.
She is the only female in world's history who commanded a level-2 hospital twice and the only female in the history who was the country senior twice in mission areas.

State-owned Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Limited (BCSCL) and Bangladesh Army signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a view to building advance telecom infrastructure through satellite communication systems.
Bangladesh Army Directorate of Information Technology (IT) and Signals Directorate signed the MoU with BCSCL.
Post and Telecom Minister Mustafa Jabbar was present as the chief guest at the event while Chief of General Staff of Bangladesh Army Lt Gen Md Safiqur Rahman and Chairman of Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited Dr Shahjahan Mahmud were present as the special guests.
Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Secretary Md Afzal Hossain presided over the meeting.
Through this MoU, BCSCL and Bangladesh Army will build Digital Bangladesh by making appropriate contributions to the development, expansion, and management of the satellite communications system.
Till date, Bangladesh Army has completed the process of setting up a satellite hub station and nine Auto-tracking terminal stations which require support from BSCL. In addition, the technical workforce of the Signal Corps of the Army will have the opportunity to work in the practical field of advanced technology.

We have two neighbours, Both are our enemies, both are anti muslim, which is a direct threat to us.
Myanmar has been claiming our island in the sea as their for the past 10 years, their government also refers to the Rohingya refugees who are Myanmar citizen as "Bengalis" which is an indirect attack on our nation.
They also pushed 1.2 million muslim rohingya refugee into our country by committing genocide on their side of border.....
There may be a brief war between Bangladesh and Myanmar in the coming decade, We do not want war but it seems they will not calm down until they have any enemy with 5 times their economic might crush them for once and for alll.........
We are also building viable deterrence against India, The existance of Hindu Supremacist India is threat to our national sovereignty, especially because they speak ill of Bangladesh in their parliaments and so on.....
We cannot defeat them in a long war but we intend to make the war costly, so they reconsider and we can also cripple their entire east ensuring they will come to negotiating table, of course in any conflict with India, China will be backing us, if not getting involved militarily to crush India.
As you can see, We only need to cut of this "Chickens Neck" to deliver a deadly blow to India.

Thanks man, i though you got good relations with India. its always good to know from Locals, they know the right answer. We Turks lie to take renege. most probably you will get into the war for Rohingya soon, That's why Turkey probably arm you with all these best weapons. Hit them hard and teah them a lesson. You will win it, especially get the drones at last so they dont have time to purchase it from cHina.
