The pilot survived, that is the most important part.
Certainly human life is above all, but the loss of a fighter jet worth 18.8 million $ is particularly significant. Especially when this particular fighter would take part in the modernization of F-16s in block 70/72.

According to the information, the accident happened during the landing. The fighter had landed after a training flight and was on the runway. As soon as it hit the ground, something went wrong with the braking system and it derailed.

Hmm I've heard that it crashed during takeoff. Is HAF planning on giving further info?

The crash certainly did not happen during takeoff because the fighter jet was returning to the airport after a training exercise. It is certain that the accident took place during the landing and specifically while the fighter jet had landed on the runway of the airport. A team of experts from the Hellenic Air Force has gone to the scene of the accident to investigate the causes of this technical error. There is information that the Greek fighter jet made two landing attempts, ie circles around the airport. This may mean that there has been a failure in the wheel system and specifically in the braking system. The technical errors will also be seen from the electronic systems he had. There are times when the real causes of an accident are never made public, at least not properly. There is always a veil of mystery around such announcements to cover up any human mistakes or technical failure that will be borne by the manufacturer.
