so KCR 1, 2, and 3 using AU220M 57mm and KCR 4, 5, 6 be Bofors Mk3 57mm
it posts different radar layout from the first batch which are using chinese fc and radar, are they still gonna use C802 missile for the current batch? We can see TERMA 4603 radar already installed

Sauce? And how many?Exocet.
The USN always maintain at least 1 CSG in the Pacific, the Ronald Reagan CSG is permanently port called in Yokosuka Japan. This year though had seen a hike in the number of US+Allied CSG running around with the QE2 CSG on top of USN Ronald Reagan CSG + Carl Vinson CSG.
for people who kept constant watch, the USN had been surging and ramping up their carrier presence on top of naval exercise since the Theodore Roosevelt got pulled into Guam after suffering Covid outbreak and left the Chinese as the sole carrier operator in the Pacific for a few months in 2020.
I don't understandSo it's clear if USN didnt roaming around SCS with its CVN this time ?
Since when a USN CVN pass, there's always hig activity in the area.
should have been exocet, bofors 57mm mk3 FC radar are located above its cannon barrel.it posts different radar layout from the first batch which are using chinese fc and radar, are they still gonna use C802 missile for the current batch?
I think that is used to calculate muzzle velocity, projectile speed can be used by the computer to correct aim to increase accuracy.bofors 57mm mk3 FC radar are located above its cannon barrel.

Terma has contract to supply the navy with C-Fire EOeither this new variants does not bear any 3rd party FCR then we can assume their target acquisition only rely on electro optical camera that were included with bofors 57mm or the 3rd party electro optical fire control such as terma C-Fire EO.

too bad, but can't complain either, especially with tight budget, the C-Fire REO was much more better FC system combined with 57mm for aerial target especially if navy decide to equipped them with 3P Ammunition or guided 57mm munition.Terma has contract to supply the navy with C-Fire EO
If i were making contracts for this KCRs i would likely prefer cheaper products from other parties or domestic sources for E/O and radars. (Even it may need an R&D or development) .Terma has contract to supply the navy with C-Fire EO
If only there is such things.or domestic sources for E/O and radars
Does the main gun have integrated FCR? I very doubt it. If it has a radar it will be for calibration.can't seems to find the Terma C-Fire EO, looks like this variant will depend on optoelectronic and radar included in bofors cannon itself for targeting.

I see some E/O on RCWS, i guess somebody could get it done. Len has a navigation radar i guess. Plus there are other small scale radar development that they could give a try to navalize. If only there is such things.
i was wrong with this part previously, thought it was for FCR radar (target acquisition), yes it was for calibration most likely (muzzle velocity radar).Does the main gun have integrated FCR? I very doubt it. If it has a radar it will be for calibration.

it would even be more effective if they were supplemented with good FCR.Constellation class also gonna use bofors 57mm is it because good for AA gun?
We won't need CIWS on newer KCR then, unlike the other that is equipped with Chinese CIWS.
