The newly opened TAI National Combat Aircraft Engineering Facility. Here we can see the assembly facility in the background as well.

I don't know why they would re-open this building again. Visited that place last year, seemed pretty operational to me. Came across both Turkish and foreign engineers there. Maybe they're just announcing it now idk.

Excuse the politics, but in Turkey, everything that can be opened in a political ceremony will be opened in a political ceremony. Even if its done twice.

But maybe we'll get something new and good on the side of the PR event.

True unfortunately. But hey It would be awesome if we could see some pics of Hurjet. I'd love to know more about the TISU/MIUS drone as well.

We have very critical two years ahead 2022 and 2023 and there is an important period between 2023 and 2025. 2022 and 2023 are really vital.

Turks have still engine problems. Congress can delay the entire project with a single resolution. Do Turks have a solution for this?

Except for export, America does not create a problem for Turkey in terms of engines.

We are developing a national engine. Hopefully it will be ready by the time the serial production begins.

For now. They will most likely block the engines for serial production.

They use the same f16 engine ..so there would be no problem for the development phase ..but with the serial production phase ... They promised that the serial production phase will be carried with domestic engines .. i think tei will try to nationalize the foreign parts in f110 .. hence they has a long term experience with that engine and produces many parts of it already and carry out the assembly testing and maintenance of already present engines
