Has nothing to do with Pakistani-Taliban relations. Has everything to do with how close Pakistan is to China. The same reason Pakistan is not getting its AH-1Z delivered. It’s just the engine but the US clearly has no interest in delivering anything to Pakistan as long as its China policy continues.

That’s why I always laugh when I see people advocating or spreading rumors that Pakistan will join the TF-X program. Never going to happen. It might buy the TF-X after it enters serial production or have Turkey help in the AZM program but Pakistan due to its closeness to China will never outright join our TF-X program.

The same China policy is being exploited by India to satisfy its own needs.

I also think the delay of the Philippine choppers has nothing to do with export permission but more logistic problems.

I would like to know that as well. That is what I am trying to say.

What happened to Hürkus ? or ANKA Aksungur deliveries ? or T129 ATAK for PH ? something isn't working straight at TUSAS and its damaging trust and reputation.

Found something.

The T-70 Production line during the visit of Niger President at TUSAS Facility in Ankara.
At least 3 T-70s in the Production Line.

The US probably slowed the project. It is a SSB project even though it is not embargoed officially the US has other ways to slow projects.

Temel Kotil, CEO of TUSAS;

The price of the Atak 2'll be almost half the price of the F-35

Indonesia bought 8 AH-64 Apache and paid ~$180 million for each incl. weapons and spare engines.
Australia bought 29 and around $155 million each...

Mindblowing how some countries are ready to pay such ridiculous amount of money.

If and when we start selling T-929, our selling price will be very high as well. It all depends on what the buyer needs and can afford to pay. Also if they need spare engines and parts or not. If they ask for training costs to be covered. There is also the issue of weapons. Any weapon local or foreign will need to be integrated to the helicopter. That is a costly process, especially if it is foreign.
We sell t-129 for 45-50 million dollars a piece. This price varies in line with what is requested in the package. If you check it out, you will find that 6000kg class light attack Eurocopter Tiger costs around 27-30 million Euros (30-33 million US). But they were offered to Australia for 68 million Australian dollars (Approx 51million US).
Boeing makes Apaches for US at a price of 67million dollars a piece. But if you start adding weapons, training, parts etc etc ; then you may end up with 150 million dollars or more a piece.
T-929 will have Mildar and better avionics and more weapons than t-129, and better armour. Also the engines will be costlier. These will have to be added to the final price.

We had discussed this before. Actual cost is irrelevant. What you can pay and how much you can sell it for or how much the buyer is prepared to pay are the important points.
@Combat-Master has asked a very relevant question. What was the actual cost of the total t-129 project? And how does that translate to individual heli?

Which price is he comparing anyway?
Assuming flyway cost of F-35A in range $80 to $90 (FY 2017) million and AH-64E's $40 to $50 (FY 2018) million. The price seems to be "reasonable" close in range to AH-64E / F.
Note also Kotil might be referring the price of a "plain unit". Marine and Land Forces will get customization of their own. Marine version will be slightly more expensive.

+ DIRCM + MUMT-X + Better E/O + Better EW + Marinized

Extended manned-unmanned teaming.

In other words via LOS or BLOS; The helicopter can up-link with drones, manage or use them to illuminate-track the target, extract location to coordinate an attack conduct ISR missions. Ability to launch kamikaze-forward / deployable sensor drones with man-in-the-loop etc.
