For once mate, we actually agree on somethingYes ,we should ask italian side leonardo to push us senate about the sale. One of the biggest winners in this deal will be italian side, since the provide still quite considerable amount of componenets in temrsof cost. Additionally,US engine producer should make a press too.
However, US is trying to side with indians !! indians have support of israel lobby and many senator try to make india another power against china!!

I bookmarked this post of yours to keep as a memory
My friend using helicopters is not a easy job you need to see your environment very good using a unmanned helicopter is a both bad and unnecessary ideaAt this point I am not sure we need T-929, at least a manned version. Need for attack helicopters is decreased with the use of UCAVs. I think we should consider developing unmanned version of attack helicopters.
Just as a comparison the AW249 from Leonardo being developed for the Italian Armed Forces. Leonardo was trying to get Turkey on board for this one to satisfy the demands of both countries.
After seeing the most likely finished product, I can say we did well not joining it.
We opt’ed for a more front line chopper. (Heavier armoured)Why what's wrong with the AW249?
Attack Helicopters are still crucial in modern battlefields for close air support, anti tank and escort missions, the incidents in Ukraine are just telling us one thing that the Russians have crap countermeasure-systems, really bad avionics and last but not least outdated doctrine.At this point I am not sure we need T-929, at least a manned version. An intimidating T-929 with a 30mm cannon and tons of deadly ammunition! This is the chopper Turkish Army has been longing for. for decades. So does the Navy, especially after the Anadolu. T-129 is and will only be an interim solution for Turkey’s Armed Forces!Attack Helicopters are still crucial in modern battlefields for close air support, anti tank and escort missions, the incidents in Ukraine are just telling us one thing that the Russians have crap countermeasure-systems, really bad avionics and last but not least outdated doctrine.
As a Infantry or Tank member a Attack Helicopter is one of those things i wouldn't want to face in a war.
35mm would be better, i hope they are working on thatAn intimidating T-929 with a 30mm cannon and tons of deadly ammunition! This is the chopper Turkish Army has been longing for. for decades. T-129 has a future in the arsenal of a military force in search for an interim or affordable solution. There are other alternatives though, look into this one;

Industry 4.0, 5G net, digitalization and and a huge 3D printer makes things much faster.BUMP
Turkish ATAK II is suposed to make her first flight in March 2023 (10 months from now)
Ain't it strange that we only have seen a mock up and not an assembly line like that of Hurjet?
How long does it take to assemble a helicopter (same with TFx that is suposed to hangar roll out in March)
