We're not getting anything new with brahmos. All of our SSM are radar guided. We need IIR guided missile. Better redundancy against electronic attacks.Which one do you prefer?

What's next? Otomat on FREMM,
NSM on trimaran, Brahmos on AH140?

They could get land based NSM to complement the Brahmos, that would be wise though, something highly mobile with 2 unit launcher of NSM on 4x4.We're not getting anything new with brahmos. All of our SSM are radar guided. We need IIR guided missile. Better redundancy against electronic attacks.
Altough iam doubting the commitment of ID gov on national programmes.whomever offering some ToT to aid the national AShM in the future.
Then most ASEAN Navies will be armed Brahmos then...FE Exclusive: Indonesia to buy BrahMos Missile from India? Talks in advance stage
The BrahMos missile that Indonesia is expected to import from India is going to be fitted onboard its warships. A team from BrahMos Aerospace joint venture between New Delhi and Moscow has already visited Indonesia shipyard to study the possibility of fitting the missile.
Financial Express Online had reported earlier that Vietnam was in negotiations with India for both BrahMos and Akash missiles. Talks are also going on with Malaysia for BrahMos Missile, those it’s just in the initial stage.
With the deal with Indonesia expected to be sealed year end/early next year, it will give India a strategic hold in the region as well as give a boost to the economy.

True, land based NSM on top of Anoa. Its definitely more mobile than this and air transportable.I already removed Yakhont and Chinese one or anything outdated;
Exocet (already exists) - NSM or something like it - Brahmos, and i said at least because;
possibly something like Neptune or whomever offering some ToT to aid the national AShM in the future.

Our MPA could detect object as far as 350km away. Once a target identified as hostile and transmitted to warships, the missile will be fired at one activation point (also called waypoint )where onboard seeker are turned on and go for the kill using onboard sensor (terminal guidance).If brahmos become reality then old question resurface again. How TNI AL get data for OTH target?
nope i mean the Malaysians,This:
i think AH140, but is it possible to put it in REM class??What ship they were talking about?
Future or current?
Ah140? Van speijk again?
KRI Oswald Siahaan still in active service though.I don't think Yakhont still exist in our inventory
