In a war, the US would obliterate China.

US Navy is much better and bigger.

US Army, Navy Seals, Rangers, Marines and Delta Forces are holding more quality.

US Airforce is the best and biggest in the world.

Their combined arms strategy and operational command are the most sophisticated.

Everything they have is better. Gear balls, brains.

This whole affair is and will be paying enormous dividends for the PLA. Defence budget is going to increase and they're literally closer to Taiwan than ever before.

A strategic miscalculation one could call it, or rather a shot in the knee where you boast about your accuracy. Though that's the skilled and suave foreign policy I expect from the Biden admin at this point.
