Havelsan secured $60 million contract via ADVENT integration;

2 systems for earlier agreement, FACs that will be produced by TAIS
3 systems signed within this year, PT. TESCO's FAC?
2 systems to upgrade existing frigate platforms by PT. PAL

Also MoU - agreement to supply future ships made by a shipyard. (Which one it is?)

Mr. Nacar, also stated there is a demand for ToT and Havelsan aims to work closely for this matter. If i were Indonesian MoD at this point, instead of acquiring ready to install CMS for 7+ platforms, i would order a customized local version developed jointly (via assistance) and gaining source codes for future upgrades.

Mr. Nacar also says, Harbiye, the network based battle management system for Land Forces also presented to Indonesian officials.

Few questions more to whom has been to fair, or can scan images better:
Somebody once (i don't remember who) has claimed that there will be "cruises missiles" and "air to surface missiles" in next indodefense.

There was also one IR guided missile being developed by a private company.

Any information published on these, apart from C-705 copy?

According to Basuki, the Tesco variant of the KCR-60M was conceived in-house and features a slightly different design when compared with existing vessels of the type that has been built by PT PAL Indonesia.

A major difference is the vessel's propulsion system – it consists of a single fixed propeller and two Hamilton HT900 water-jets. These are powered by two MTU 16V 4000 M93L and one MTU 16V 4000 M63L diesel engines, respectively.

The existing KCR-60M vessels are each propelled by two fixed pitch propellers.

“Our studies and consultation with the Indonesian Navy indicate that its KCR-60M vessels are operated largely at below cruising speeds,” said Basuki in an interview with Janes . “At these speeds, it is most economical to utilise the propeller. And when it needs to go full speed, all three propulsion systems can be deployed,” he added.

Defense News November 2022Posted On Wednesday, 02 November 2022 12:47

FNSS is attending Indo Defence Expo & Forum 2022 which is taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia, between 2 – 5 November. The Turkish manufacturer is exhibiting its Marine Assault Vehicle (MAV) Zaha with Caka Remote Weapon Station (RWS) which is purposely designed for MAV. Kaplan MT (Harimau), developed jointly by FNSS and PT Pindad as part of a Defence Industry Cooperation Agreement signed between Turkey and Indonesia, is participating in the live demonstrations.

The Marine Assault Vehicle (MAV) called Zaha is the tracked vehicle designed by FNSS to meet amphibious operational requirements. During the beach landing phase of an amphibious operation, these vehicles are launched from landing helicopter docks (LHD) and are able to rapidly cover the distance between the vessel and the shore, allowing marine units to land under armor protection. A unique hull design and powerful water jets make the MAV highly mobile in the water with a speed of 7 knots, as well as on land, at 70 km/h maximum speed. The MAV firepower is provided by the purposely designed CAKA dual remotely-controlled turret that can be armed with a 12.7 mm MG and a 40 mm AGL.

In addition to Zaha, Kaplan MT (Medium Tank), which was developed within the scope of the project signed between the Presidency of Defence Industries of Turkiye and the Indonesian Ministry of Defence with an interstate agreement, took place in the live demonstration of the Indonesian Army on Wednesday, November 2, in the open area of the Expo.
In the scope of the Kaplan MT project, FNSS completed the production of the first batch of vehicles with the serial production configuration. 10 tank platforms are produced in FNSS facilities and shipped to Indonesia for final turret assembly. The parts and subsystems for the production of the remaining 8 vehicles were exported to Indonesia as knock-down kits and delivered to FNSS' partner PT Pindad. Production of the vehicles is expected to be completed by the end of the first half of 2023.
The Kaplan MT is the sole and exclusive modern Medium Weight Tank designed with a rear powerpack and not a conversion of a variant from an existing IFV. Its unique design provides the lowest silhouette and highest power-to-weight ratio in its class and its platform is designed for optimum weight and high mobility performance.
As the Kaplan MT project stands out in that it is Turkey's first export project in the tank class, the project itself highlights the export experience and the succession of the technology transfer model of FNSS as the design perfection studies of the project completed in a short time and the production of the platforms concluded within the scope of the foreseen calendar.

PT Republik Armamen unveils its IFAR 22 bullpup assault rifle

04/11/2022 assault rifle, IFAR 22, Indo Defense, Indonesia, Republik Armamen

By Joseph Roukoz

The appearance of a made in Indonesia bullpup assault rifle is not a first in itself, as the first firearm in that configuration was exhibited at Indo Defense 2006, another project, this time a Designated Marksman Rifle in 7.62 mm calibre being shown ten years later. Both were developed by the R&D division of PT Pindad, the state-owned defence company.

At the 2022 edition of Indo Defense a new bullpup assault rifle, this time chambered for the 5.56×45 mm NATO calibre was unveiled by PT Republik Armamen, a private company part of Republik Orp, a holding that regroups numerous companies operating in the defence business that was formed in 2014.

The new rifle is known as IFAR 22, for Indonesian Future Assault Rifle, and is available in two version with different barrel lengths, respectively 20-inch (508 mm) and 16-inch (406 mm), barrels being provided by PT Pindad.

The design is user-friendly also for left-handed soldiers as not only all commands can are available on both sides, but also the brass ejection port can be reverted, switching the opening on the left to avoid spent cases to hit the shooter. A typical gas piston operated rifle, the IFAR 22 rate of fire is of 600-800 rounds per minute, the three-position selector being installed on top of the pistol grip allowing the shooter to operate it easily, The IFAR 22 is fed by a standard STANAG 4179 30-round magazine.

A full-length Picatinny rail is available on top of the receiver; the two rifles exhibited in Bangkok were fitted with a transport handle fixed to that rail, the handle also being fitted with a full length Picatinny o top, allowing installing different types of sight. The shorter barrel version was seen with flip up iron sights, while the 20-inch version was equipped with a red dot sight and a magnifier, with a laser pointer installed at the forward end of the rail.

At 3- and 9-o’ clock we find KeyMod slots permitting the direct attachment of accessories or, as in the case of exhibited weapons, a short element of Picatinny rail. A short Picatinny is available at 6-o’ clock, where a front handle was installed.

The huge advantage of the bullpup configuration over the traditional one is its compactness, the 20-inch rifle being only 780 mm long while the shorter version with a 16-inch barrel is 698 mm long, respective weights being 3.7 and 3.6 kg.
