Hopefully if the rumour is true the first steel cutting for the Merah Putih frigate will indeed get underway today and we will finally know which variant the Navy will get the 140 m or the 143 m.

We are going to adapt Babcock design and their advice which is 140m not PT PAL Frankenstein 143m so most likely we will follow this recipe with a slight add on weaponries depend on what suits us but still under Babcock recipe
PAL trully made a big joke presenting fake mock up in front RI 1, what a stupid waste of time.

Well fake or not they did promote this mutant 143 m during Philmarine exhibition. Maybe they are offering it for export while we are using the original Babcock Arrowhead 140 design. Just my guess though.

Regarding to number of ship that will be built by or with PT. PAL just doesn't make any sense, 2 AH 140, rumoured 2 SSV for Phillipine, and 2 Fremm Bergamini, with just one 230m ship-assembly dry docks wont be any sufficient to catch up with deadline
there is news that AH 140 was built at PT. DRU Lampung

I know not fully committed to a contract we signed in 2019 is a ethically wrong in business but are we seriously getting 2nd batch of Nagapasa Class ?

“Indonesia has [postponed issuing L/Cs] before. They did not provide an L/C for over a year for one of our contracts, but then ended up eventually fast-tracking the program anyways. We expect the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two nations next year to positively affect talks.”

Park Doo-seon, President of DSME

“Discussions with Indonesia have advanced quite nicely…Delivery will probably begin by the first half of next year.”

Well can someone elaborate ? Even if we end up getting another batch of this, i want a throughout evaluation, a deep technical audits on existing 3 Nagapasa Class therefore minimise the defects in those boats and fix another batch so we can operate them optimally

Lol we have gado gado armed forces like Egypt
Keep the submarine fleet for 2 Class only then we are manageable, though i'm not sure but more or less so but having 3 Class then we will know what a grave mistake our policy makers did backthen
