Kale Kalip is preparing for 6.5mm and 6.8mm optimized platforms.

That's great. Now if Turkey is really serious about becoming a superpower of it's own I think they should develop and procure a caliber of their own together with their partners in the future. The 6.5 platforms whether the creedmoor, lapua or grendel offer a lot if development opportunities. With a little bit of modifications they can be transformed in some very good military platforms.

I think sticking to NATO calibers is our best bet. Why reinvent the wheel? What's more critical is affordable advanced optics and fire control systems like the tenders submitted to the NGSW-FC program by Vortex and L3Harris. ASELSAN Sivas is probably working on it.

Yes you are right, developing an equivalent of this should be the priority for Turkey right now because no matter the caliber if you don't have a good optic your enemy will be superior to you. However I was talking about future plans in case of a breakup from Nato, plus a lot of the Nato calibers have become obsolete so yeah sometimes you need to reinvent the wheel when the wheel becomes obsolete.

5. Yeni bir silah almak için ne yapmam gerekiyor. Birden fazla Silah alabilir miyim? Bir yılda en çok kaç silah alabilirim?

Yeni bir silah alabilmek için web sayfamızı inceleyip alacağınız silah türü ve ikamet adresinize göre müracaat edeceğiniz birimi belirleyip web sayfamızda belirtilen belgeleri hazırlayarak ilgili birime müracaat edebilirsiniz. Alacağınız silah sayısında Kanunen herhangi bir sınırlama bulunmamaktadır.

The number of fire arms you are allowed to posses is not limited by law. I was thinking we are only allowed one handgun, interesting.

With the opening of Canik Florida factory Canik will start making subcompact, carry friendly pistols. I would wait to see what they will be offering before buying anything carry.

Our Turkish people love high cap magazine for personal carrying. However you would never fire more than 6-7 ammos if you had in trouble as a civil citizen. Americans researched that all criminal conflicts end up with 6-7 gunshots.

But if you're security personnel you should have need more capacity.

That's why I love slim handguns.

Instead of blind shooting, the person who carries a gun need to train at poligons.

I had to make a seperate post for people who have not viewed the video that is in my previous post. An American shooter won the carry optics division championship with this Canik METE SFX PRO pistol. And the two malfunctions that happened in the video were actually induced by the reviewer on purpose. As can be seen in the comments on YT this guy is known to question reliability of pistols of some brands including Canik and Luger simply because of jealosy.

The guy admits he didn't lube the gun and didn't tighten the sight down. I don't know why he would upload a review that's so flawed instead of re-doing it properly but yeah, bit odd.

I seriously hate these camos.

They are popping up in fps games like a cancer.

It ruins immersion.

In real life its even worse.

The Mpt 76 and Mpt 55 rifles are constantly being developed. The weight of the Mpt 76 has been reduced. Domestic optics are in production.
