I dont think racial supremacism is common among Turks. Majority dont believe in such nonsense there is some who may.
Nationalism and patriotism is really common.
Yes i thought so,
the patriotism which isnt fueled by racism is actually good for any country's health
What i am really curious though as a sociology student, how Turks did manage to stay truly patriotic while having a totally free market economy.
One of the downside of capitalist economy is that, it change the social structure in a way where people as individuals primarily cares about money and self interests.
country, flag all is good for lip service, but they are not truly in the actual thing!
the prime example is United state.
i guess it is maybe because of the historic volatile nature of geopolitics in surrounding region of Turkey that, Turks got no other choice but to remain extra conscious about their identity and flag.
Racial supremacy is common among all races and ethnic groups it does havent to be skin colour it can be anything.
Yes, but historically speaking, it is considerably less in Muslim nations compared to the Europeans or others because of islam's positive impact on our sociocultural structure.
( As we all know, the very idea that, there is no racial supireority between people is one of the core values of our religion )
You can barely find any example in history, where a Muslim nation mass exterminated other people because of racial supremacy. while on the other hand, European history is full of such examples.
