Started testing of 400hp VURAN and 600hp AZRA diesel engines on BMC Vuran and BMC Tank Carrier vehicles. Tests continue successfully. BMC Vuran armored vehicles equipped with VURAN engine are expected to enter the inventory in 2023.

It produces 44.5 horsepower from 1 liter cylinder volume. 90% of the parts are domestic. Tubitak RUTE did a great job. 16 cylinder beast is also coming

What's this engine on testbed;

Turkiye's MTU is born. Engines like Utku and BATU will complete their development cycle within 2-3 years and enter the inventory and in the meantime, work on larger marine diesel engines will be revealed. Things are going well in this area as well.

Germany put on blinders and followed a wrong policy towards Turkiye and imposed an embargo on us for engines. During field research and likely cooperation meetings on Turkiye's engine adventure, Representatives of German engine groups kept talking about how difficult diesel powerpack development process was and therefore they thought that Turkiye would probably never have this capability. That's why they used the engine card ruthlessly against Turkiye.

These policies have mobilized Turkiye and now we will emerge as a very strong opponent against them. Every country that they have embargoed for various politic excuses will now demand a meeting for Turkish engine and transmission group and the last obstacle to the sale of our strategic products that have to use German engines will be removed. When these engines come, I think we will sign billion $ sales deals in a single item in the tank, howitzer and IFV group. Germany has been very successful in producing strong rivals for itself. Congratulations to them...

Can we power the entire lineup of our land vehicles(military) with the four engines BMC Power is developing? Do we need more powerful, or less powerful engines for some vehicles?

Congrats to the Germans who thought the Turks would bend over to their knees and beg.

If the Germans come with a deal time stick the middle finger at them.

Germans have lately been taking lots of Ls in Australia they are ditching the Eurocopters 🤣

Transmission is more critical than the engine, but still big!
S&T Dynamics’ automatic transmission failed in the durability tests six times for the K2 Tank.
A tank transmission must run for 320 hours without defects.
I'm more conservative, but lets see..
