and? China is superpower and dont have clash of interests with Turkiye .
Why need china to dismantle TFX ?!
China already have its own 5 gen fighters .
Turkiye national threat in syria YPG . Will china protect ypg or USA?
If Turkiye want to take its islands back from puppet greek will face USA or China?
If Turkiye want to rule Balkan Turks (bosnia, kosovo , albania, maxedonia) will face China or USA ?!
The time has come that CHINA RUSSIA have became the NATURAL ALLIES of Turkiye u like it or not .
Europe , USA never will love/like you , they only want from you to rule and use u like cheap condom , Both of them , people and goverments are extremist zionist that want to put u on your knees .
During FETO coup , who supported them China or USA ?
Where Prime Coupist Gulen pig live ? Shaigai or pensilvania?

China, if had opportunity, would definitely try to suck up every piece of info they would find on the TF-X. They would then gain a significant advantage and be better prepared if one day they find themselves against it. And why not sell precious info to Turkiye’s adversaries. Tech stealing is a real thing, and should never be underestimated.

Having said that, Turkish Aerospace would never export the full capability version of the plane to third countries. Same thing can be said for the Rafale, or the F-35. But still, if China or another country manages to get their hands on the TF-X, they can still get non-negligible info on the plane or it’s armements.

But China could possibly face TFX on South China sea.

If Indonesia really buy TFX, I would hate that.

That is not true, there is no such thing as downgraded 5th gen fighter.
Either it meets the specific requirements set by procuring nation for a 5th gen fighter or it doesnt.

USA sell its allies almost the exact f35 that it uses itself. only difference is in software and some other minor modifications. ( for example, ability to carry nukes. )
Other than that, there are no downgraded version of APG 81 or EOTS or Baracuda, when it comes to avionics.
Nor there are any downgraded version of F35s main fuselage or F135 engine when it comes to hardware.
Otherwise, it would've not been possible to establish a global production line for f35s production.

However, USA does control the spare parts supply line, maintains, upgrades and weapon package.
thus, effectively controlling the f35s operability that it sold around the world.

You are living a dream, this is certainly NOT the case, you even state so in your comment lol

Of course the West does the same. During and after the Cold War the US boys dismantled every Soviet weapon system they could get their hands on, mostly from ex-Warsaw Pact nations and Russian-friendly Arab countries (like Egypt). Egypt is another interesting case of exchanging access to many of its Western, Chinese and Russian inventory to interested parties.

I‘ll stop now with off-topic thread derailing 😅

Well, while giving secret shelter for years to the global no. 1 terrorist they had no entitlement to any sovereignty. Fuck with America, America will fuck you up. Fair game.
You are to America what Pakistan is to China, if you know what I mean...*wink wink*

Regarding the topic, the TFX plane will 100% enter Pakistani inventory - one way or another. Islamabad has never breached any security agreement with the US. Don't forget that Pakistan got its first F16s in the 80's when the Falcon was considered a top notch and state of the art fighter jet.

Pakistan is more important to Turkey's security than Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea put together.

Get your facts straight.

We are to America what Germany and Japan also are: useful allies with US boots on the ground serving common interests. And furthermore liberal democracies, technologically advanced and economic powerhouses enjoying freedom and a quality of life that Pakistanis and most Chinese could only dream of.

Pakistan is more a security threat to Turkey‘s hard earned technological leap in the defense sector than Indonesia, Malaysia or South Korea ever could be. They will sell you out to the Chinese in a blink of an eye.

They can build the required infrastructure to prepare to use the TFX including final assembly and maintenance lines in their locations.
People forget that building factories is the easiest part, the hardest is the human ressources, most of these countries have zero experience in building an aircraft, much less a 5th gen and its sub systems.
And financially, well yeah, some of them are even on the brink of bankruptcy so i wouldnt expect much financial contribution either.
That’s a ridiculous logic. If a PKK member is located in SK, is Turkey then allowed to bomb your country?
Turkey threatened Syria with war because they were sheltering abdullah öcalan...

Cultural ties between Turkey and Pakistan are very strong I can't deny that. In fact, thanks to these ties, more cooperation than its potential has occurred between the two countries. But after a while we have to be realistic in terms of pacts to which the two countries belong. How will selling these platforms to Pakistan 10 years from now change the dynamics in the region? It is certain that Pakistan will use these fighter against India which getting supported by western pact against China .Will they let us play with the balances like this? Also, why should we put ourselves in a difficult situation for a country on its way to becoming a fail state?
And I think Turkey's relations with Malaysia, Bangladesh and Indonesia are much much more important.

You’re right, the F-35 has been designed for exports from the start. But the US still maintain the edge compared to the planes it sells to it’s allies, as they can upgrade / modify them as they wish. The software also isn’t the same, as you rightfully pointed out.

Countries that sells critical technologies such as 5th generation aircrafts always maintain some kind of edges over the product they export. You never sell the fully capable product you have to others.

IMF 2022 GDP estimates for select countries.
The amount of money you want to spend on something depends on how badly you want to have it.

Exactly. The GDP figure is an important and strong indicator. There's no doubt about it. However, obtaining military hardware has its own set of rules which are mostly defined by political requirements rather than financial restrictions.

There's also another point which we haven't discussed yet:

How and what kind of financial deal is Turkey going to offer its future customers? Are we even able to offer credits to other countries? Could Saudi Arabia or Qatar assist Ankara at this very important point?

Military systems are a package of contracts and international governments usually never pay the entire rate upfront. It's simply too expensive.

For instance, the French didn't offer an adequate financial framework for their ships and fighters for a very long time which is one of the main reasons why they lost many customers to other Western competitors between the years 2000 to 2015.

This has changed after intensive debates in Paris. Subsequently, we see a significant rise in the export of major French weapon systems.

Having a good fighter jet is very crucial but there are other issues at hand which are equally important if we want to turn the TFX into a major global success story.

This is just one of the reasons why we still need a partner. The alternative is to find a financially capable customer who is ready to pay a significant amount of the price straight upfront. Either way, there are going to be some strings which will cause criticism among those who choose to live in a digital bubble rather than the cold reality...

Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Brazil are in my opinion possible customers, especially Azerbaijan which is currently undergoing a change from Soviet/Russian to NATO military standards with the assistance of Türkiye needs a Air Force which can operate with TuAF in the future.

What are the advantages/disavantages of having vertical stabilizers on the top of engines?
Vertical wings supposed to catch this vortex stream from wings. More air controlled the better.

So placement more to the center like MMU kind of less ideal, isn't it?

The placement is not more to the center, the engines are further apart to accommodate the mystery rear facing section between the engines.
