What is the point of making the first flight this early? Many critical subsystems, such as BÜRFİS are not ready. What is the point here, except being able to do it ahead of the planned timeline? They can't deliver it to force before all critical subsystems are completely tested, so it won't help the final date either.

Actually it will, i mean the data you get from actual flights is much more valuable than any test you can do. Aircraft itself will be tested.

As far as I know, PDR is not yet completed. When will CDR start is unknown? What is the point of this speed when PDR and CRD are not completed?

The engine development has to keep pace with MMU development. Otherwise, the issue still remains to be the biggest obstacle of the program.

If the revision of first flight date will push the date of the first delivery forward is still unknown. We're not even clear of PDR(not confirmed) yet, but we're trying to fly the plane by the end of the year. Desperate times will call for desperate measures. The risk has grown. I hope it will pay off by encountering the problems early on and have more time to resolve them.

Regardless of the ruling party, the US will deny us the engines once the program enters the serial production phase. I'm sure of this. We have to put an engine on the bench as soon as possible and wear it out.

Not only an election year but also the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Turkish Republic. So a lot of meaning has been pinned on this year. Also geopolitical challenges require us to show some teeth while also our efforts have matured to bear fruit. So time is ripe to make our presence and shine.

Everybody has been astonished about the speed of Baykar developing and producing their platforms.
TA now is doing it like a boss! A fvcking 5th Gen fighter!
Parallel to TiSU/Anaka 3, Gökbey, Atak II, Aksungur, Simsek, Anka-S, Satellites, and more.
What a marvel!
Aren't we all lucky to witness these? Unlike citizens of other countries who take it for granted because it's been there since their existence.
