You know sh*t about the Turkish constitution. What you want does not really matter, Turkey is a constitutional republic, there has to be a election in 4 months, people will go and vote where ever they are, it is not hard, you can change your location where you want in 1 day. It is easily doable, half my family is also IDPs now, they relocated to 500km away from they are, they are waiting for elections and legal actions they will take after the elections impatiently.
You know sh*t about the election system and its organizational-bureaucratic background.
You know sh*t about the election laws of our country.
If you (and those who liked your posting) had the slightest idea of how the system works, you wouldn't have dismissed my concerns in the first place.
The Turkish law doesn't allow you to vote for the MPs of a province outside of the jurisdiction of the said province.
I can't cast my vote for the MPs of the Malatya province in Istanbul or Elazığ. This is not possible. If you give me the right to vote for the Istanbul MPs, what repercussions is this going to have? Have you thought about it?
Firstly, Istanbul will be taken over by AKP once again because majority of the quake victims who fled to Istanbul are pro-AKP. On the other hand, a couple thousand of citizens in the disaster area are going to gain the privilege of sending dozens of MPs to the Turkish parliament; their ballots are going to be golden.
The basic arithmetical structure to ensure a fair and democratic election process has been destroyed, too, by this disaster.
Do you comprehend what this means?
If you do, please enlighten us with your wisdom, what is your solution?
