Working without stop for 4 weeks, just a half-day for resting. These guys are so committed. At that rate we can send batchs of Leopards in just a month, together with trained staff.

Their new patch:

I dont know why all the mental gymnastics you had to put into this but the sources have shown that the Kinzhal is slightly bigger and is air launched where unlike the Iskander it has to reach an altitude before descending unlike the kinzhal that is already launched at a high altitude and most of its fuel is already used in flight than starting from the ground. Their ranges take account for manuevers with their cruising altitudes, it would be as stupid as stating the Zircon cant be 1000kms because of its flight path having more air density than BMs even though Russians have already taken account for the manueverability and low altitude flight paths of the Zircon

Bro, is that really an argument on why the HTV-2 failed and the Avangard didnt? Its because Russia is broke that their hypersonic projects succeed uuhhh what?

interesting I am getting 4 pantsirs, with some being brought back to like the tanks in the Ukraine war.

So poland paving the way to give aircrafts to UKR and a new Rammstein meeting is being held today...

Our F-18, around 80, are close to being decommisioned, there is a contract to build 20 Eurofighters, another contract is being discussed for more, and it seems we are going to order around 30 F-35. So plenty of room for an hypothetic aircraft aid package.

Most of the russian supporters(nazbol/axis) use anime profile pictures you can understand their mental state from that.

Seriously anybody with an anime picture I discard their opinion immeditately.

I dont care if they are right or wrong lol

Russian posters calling Bashar a Lion 🤣

Its funny and pathetic at the same time.

Yes true, but the fundamental problems remain...
  1. it's mainly a solid fueled aircraft that can't control the optimal thrust during entire flight
  2. once the rocket motor is out, its all the kinetic energy that left, there's no more propulsion left
  3. the energy would bleed fast in those maneuvering sequence, especially when the missile is maneuvering in a CONSTANT and high G manner throughout flight
  4. and many more questionable claims
in a fighter jet, when you pull 9G you lose energy much more quickly than <9G, to compenaste this fighter jets
  1. apply max thrust through out the maneuver (thrust is constant here)
  2. level flight
  3. dive
all 3 of which is missing in the Zircon...

Anyway this is not the 1st time Russia failed to met its hype and it will not likely be the last. But you could fool yourself if you want.
Bro, is that really an argument on why the HTV-2 failed and the Avangard didnt? Its because Russia is broke that their hypersonic projects succeed uuhhh what?

In the end research needs two important thing, money and talent. Which Russia is not on par with the States. Russia has a lot less money and talents aren't flocking towards Russia, instead its now leaving Russia.

Its actually questionable how countries that is late in the research of hypersonic field this thing in the first place. The HTV-2 might be a failure in flight but the data of HTV 2 and 3 test is the more important one here, cause it is the basis of further development and improvement.. So how come Zircon etc does success in an instant without any data to improve upon

No surprise though, this is the country that labels its non AESA Su-35 as 4+++++ gen fighter lol. 😂

I believe we all share your view /feelings for democracy and freedom on personal & domestic level. I am almost certain that a very big margin of people here supports Ukraine on personal level including me.

BUT

But here the main point is; the first thing thought to an IR student is, there is a clear distinction between domestic and international politics and the way they operate.

We may manage to go beyond pure Machiavellian understanding of early Realism by lets say Hans Morgenthau or Aron, yet still the concept of ''National interest'' is the key to understand international politics, only the definition of the concept became more and more vague and complex among IR scholars
Oh, this subject is challenge to keep it in Ukrainian war context, but lets give a try. The acronym IR is referring to International Relations, I assume?

Indeed, and perhaps I was unjust toward Gary by using words "democracy and freedom" exclusively in the context of internal politics. My aim was to keep this distinction clear, thank you for pointing it out.

Freedom, used within context of international relations, is often a shallow word. How many times Estonia is liberated from freedom under the slogan of "freedom": USSR liberating us from nationalism and capitalism in 1939; Germans liberating us from communism in 1941, USSR liberating us and so called Eastern Europe (Europe is separated from Asia somewhere behind Ural mountines) from nazis in 1945, Russia is liberating Ukraine from nazis again in 2022. So, again for a sake of clarity, lets agree that only Estonians can liberate Estonia, Ukrainians can liberate Ukraine and so forth. Russians can only occupy Ukraine, nothing more.

Democracy as a slogan in international relations tends to carry manipulative meaning also. Hereby a context means a lot. I believe Ukrainian soldiers fighting for democracy, but not Afghanis freedom fighters aiming the same. Perhaps I am unjust against so called traditional societies, but the culture and quality socio-economic relations within the nation should exceed certain critical level in order to acknowledge benefits of democracy. Democracy involves a lot of individualism, but also economic or societal values given higher value compared to religious or clann interest and so forth. Drastic change of attitude within the frames of occupation is not acceptable for any nation in any given time. It is like religion, one country cannot force a another country to accept democracy unless another country has freely chosen to do so.

That is a lovely footage and wholly confirms the US version of the events.

They tried fuel dumping at least two times and on the last try they had a contact, damaging the propeller. Seems it wasn't downed by the contact but ditched by the operator.

Thats what interesting I remember one Russian on facebook when I was on it once telling me how Slavic Russians themselves did not even trust their own bretheren so it was better if non Slavs who are Russian by nationality fighting for Russia.

He cussed at his own people for being weak, cowardly especially the ones living in Moscow and St Petersburg he believed they have became too urbanised and in turn liberal.

I forgot what the group was but in this group it mainly about geopolitics and history where people discussed it.

Too bad I forgot his name.
