In the event of an armed attack on the territory of a Member State, the other Member States owe it all assistance and assistance in their power, in accordance with
Article 51 of the United Charter Nations. This does not affect the specific nature/stance of the security and defense policies of certain Member States. The commitments and cooperation in this area remain in line with the commitments entered into within the framework of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), which for the member states remains the foundation of their collective defense and the instrument for their implementation."
