345 Airbus order negotiation from THY

Turkish Airlines has taken steps to realize the first part of the 600 aircraft agreement it has been holding for some time with European manufacturer Airbus. THY met with Airbus for a total of 321 aircraft purchases consisting of A350 ’ and A345.
If this acquisition happens, This will be the largest aircraft purchase in the history of THY.
Details of the agreement made in Istanbul and expected to be signed during the possible Dubai Air Show are as follows:
THY will receive 250 A3212neo for short and medium range. There has been no explanation as to the engine types of the aircraft. In terms of engines, THY had previously preferred the Pratt & Whitney engines PW1100G in A321 NEOs.
However, the problems with these engines previously became an headache for THY. According to the 2024 plan, 40 A321NEOs need to be lowered and engine parts need to be replaced.
In the long range, 75 A350-900 were chosen. Both types of aircraft are taking place in the THY fleet.
A350-1000 joins the fleet
Turkish Airlines has also ordered 15 the big model of A350 series, model 1000.THY Kargo will grow its fleet with 5 A350F.
As of yet, precise information on the order is in the agreement, namely the exact order which can be translated into the final order, was not given by THY or Airbus.
It was also noted that THY made this statement before the Dubai Air Show.
