40 New Destroyers: How the Chinese Navy Keeps Growing

During WW II US can outpace the allies and Axis signicantly by building new production facilities at large scale in the shortest Times.

They had the world biggest industrial and manufacturing base back then which enabled them to outproduce anyone if they wanted, but now they no longer have this base.

US close allies still churn out Destroyer, Frigates and Corvettes every year, and US itself still maintained core industrial engineering edge over their competitor and allies at significant margin. It just they don't focused and maintain at tier II industry doesn't means they can't build them. During WW II US can outpace the allies and Axis signicantly by building new production facilities at large scale in the shortest Times. With automation and large number of skilled and unskilled imigran willing to work and living in US anytime (including many from China itself), there is no problem for US to outpace China military industry output if necessary.

It just takes 50 cents to type "but no they dont have this base cuz i sez so". No higher thinking or argument needed.

It is frankly a waste of time right now (IMO). Hopefully dozens more arrive once this one declares the water is warm enough....so they make it worth my while.

B) how much value do warships make as % of total shipping sector?

If we have these ratios, I think it will be apt to see military base is not 1:1 to larger commercial base.

Because they don't need to do so, instead they still maintained core high level industrial power like Research and Development of new frontier technology, Chip and other stuff related to microprocessing units design and development, High powered and reliable Turbojet engines and other turbo engines, and among other, frontier level of robotic technology and AI Development and among other. With all of their capability and capacity they can created many industrial engineering center to create anything they deemed necessary to do so.

A) how much tonnage do military ships make as % of total marine tonnage?

B) how much value do warships make as % of total shipping sector?

If we have these ratios, I think it will be apt to see military base is not 1:1 to larger commercial base.

US simply can outsource anything to their allies when she deemed it is necessary or building new industrial base in their turf, but currently it is not, and everything is well within their scope.

I believe they can, but it takes time. like during the coronavirus, they can't even make masks and PPEs, it's not because they are unable to do so, it's because the supply chain is gone and it takes time to rebuild them.

I haven't even started exploring what the Nanjing and Mao complex even is. I will save that up for later if and when more of your type shows up.
