Here we go again... Direct from Lockheed Martin, the manufacturer of GMRLS.
GMLRS production has already increased significantly. Pre-war production was at 6000 units per year. Current production is on pace to deliver more than 10,000 GMLRS in 2024, which will rise to 14,000 GMLRS in 2025.
Ukraine does not fire GMLRS every day. It's a medium range strike capability, designed to be fired at high value targets. The "per day" volume is a useless measure for that reason. In reality, you will see approximately 50% of all GMLRS production go to Ukraine in 2024 and 2025, with the rest going to NATO allies and to backfill U.S. inventories. Therefore, Ukraine will receive approximately 5000 GMLRS it 2024 and 7000 in 2025. That said, HIMARS have additional usage as well. They can be retrofitted to Boeing's new GLSDB and they also fire ATACMS ballistic Missiles. Combined, with additional ordinance donated from U.S. stockpiles, using PDA, Ukrainian HIMARS with be able to perform approximately 600-700 strike missions per month, at various ranges.
The demand for 21st Century Security solutions is at an all-time high, as the U.S. military and its allies turn to proven capabilities to deter and defend against evolving threats worldwide.
