David's Sling SAM​

İ don't why but I adore Stunner missiles.

Designed to intercept enemy planes, drones, tactical ballistic missiles, medium- to long-range rockets and cruise missiles, fired at ranges from 40 km (24.85 miles) to 300 km (186.41 miles).

Guidance : AESA millimeter 3D radar + dual electro-optical/(FPA)/imaging
infrared (CCD/IIR) seeker + asymmetric 360-degree multi-seeker sensor engagement + 3 way data link with advanced real time automatic and manual retargeting + ECCM & IRCCM

The system's Stunner missile is designed to intercept the newest generation of tactical ballistic missiles at low altitude, such as the Russian Iskander and the Chinese DF-15 using an on-board dual CCD/IR seekers to distinguish between decoys and the actual warhead of the missile, in addition to tracking by Elta EL/M-2084 Active electronically scanned array multi-mode radar. The multi-stage interceptor consists of a solid-fuel rocket motor booster, followed by an asymmetrical kill vehicle with advanced steering for super-maneuverability during the kill-stage. A three-pulse motor provides additional acceleration and maneuverability during the terminal phase.David's Sling became operational in April 2017

ARROW 2 -3​

Family of anti-ballistic missiles designed to fulfill an Israeli requirement for a missile defense system that would be more effective against ballistic missiles than the MIM-104 Patriot surface-to-air missile.

The Arrow system consists of the joint production hypersonic Arrow anti-missile interceptor, the Elta EL/M-2080 "Green Pine" early-warning AESA radar, the Elisra "Golden Citron" ("Citron Tree") C3I center, and the Israel Aerospace Industries "Brown Hazelnut" ("Hazelnut Tree") launch control center. The system is transportable, as it can be moved to other prepared sites.

What ? The altitude range of the David Sling is 75km ? This is not realistic. 300km figure for total range is another thing I am having difficulty to get it. How can this missile reach such a long ranges? @500 these figures reflect the truth ?

İt is written between 30-75 km.75km altitude might be subject to good weather
However our mighty S400 ( not export variant) can reach 80km altitude.

Iron Dome​

The system is designed to intercept and destroy short-range rockets and artillery shells fired from distances of 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) to 70 kilometres (43 mi) away and whose trajectory would take them to an Israeli populated area.

Tamir uses a very sensitive active radar seeker and a command data-link system to chase down an incoming rocket.

Machbet​

The Machbet is an Israeli modification of the M163 Vulcan self-propelled anti-aircraft gun. The Machbet adds a pod with four FIM-92 Stinger missiles. These greatly increase the engagement range and have a much better effectiveness against fast aircraft. Additionally an optical tracker is fitted. The chassis features many modifications common to the M113 in Israeli service. Some are for instance fitted with Zelda mesh armor.

Is there any idea how many of these IDF has deployed?

I find this concept quite interesting with the gatling gun (instead of cannon) and stingers...on relatively light platform and you use sensoring only (FLIR) etc rather than any radar on board (rather you network with external radar).

Issue India found with tunguskas and similar system like that is they have to stop to fire their missile AD (though overall we are quite happy with tunguska) though given target acquisition procedure limitation. Guns of course are fine to shoot while moving since radar FCS handle that fine.

Can machbet fire stingers on aerial target while moving @500 ?

Original consept m163 vulcan had range-finder-radar( i don't think it was guidance tracking radar which operated gun in like modern CIWS) but Israelis replaced it with opticals.
İsraeli machbetS shot down 3 syrian aircrafts including a mig 21.

All Mahbets are phased out long time ago. Their guns are totally ineffective in modern times and Stingers have too short range/altitude as well.

2) David's Sling
3) Arrow 2
4) Arrow 3
5) Patriot PAC 2 (will be phased out too)

Pac-3, Barak and Spyder?

Pac-3 not purchased (David's Sling better an cheaper).
Barak used only at sea.
Spyder only for export (its anti aircraft system and for Israel highest priority is missile defense).

The SPYDER (Surface-to-air PYthon and DERby) is an Israeli short and medium range mobile air defence system​

The SPYDER-SR uses the EL/M-2106 ATAR radar while the SPYDER-MR incorporates the EL/M-2084 MMR radar.

Not actually a copy bro. This concept has been applied by some other states. The missiles in different size, using similar subcomponents, are being developed under a family integrity principle. Hisar and Barak family will be the examples to this concept.

Nope derby and python missiles have large fins.

But we haven't revealed SPYDER equivalent complex yet since there is a project converting AA missiles into SAM. Hisar might be more identical Umkhonto or mica VL.
