Our next goal should be a 14 (20) kN engine. Two of them could be used to power hürjet and a smaller version of Kaan. Both EF and Rafale use similar -in terms of power- engines.

Looks like they are going to fly for the last time with the first PT, today they have shared on insta taxi test right left turns. I asume they did it for a reason.
Why would they stop flying with the prototype ? Isn't it a waste not to conduct further flights and test the same stuff but under different conditions and such ?

I see, but what will happen to this PT then ? I think it's a waste not to expand the test field since it can take off and land. Am I wrong ?

Next prototype will be smaller and see changes to the fuselage. So continuing tests with GTU would probably not yield any data that they could use in the development.

Need to keep in mind Kaan still has not undergone CDR and have its design frozen. I expect it will happen at the end of next year though unless they need to make further changes with PT-3 and PT-4.

Hope they keep it and put it into a museum.

Data they collect may not translate 1 to 1, but it is very valuable. They can verify and update parameters of their simulation, and gain a lot of experience for programming fly by wire. They can see how every single piece performs in real life and in air, from surface coating to sensors to fuel pumps.

Wait, what? This thing has outside engines?

I mean...welp. Talk about the airframe being dead-on-arrival, it's already ancient/obsolete by the time it gets into service.
