He has some points. Maybe, not Islam but people in the "name of Islam" or culture which it brought damaged the country. You need help! And something for your utter ignorance and bigotry.
Well said, brother. My point exactly. He has some points. Maybe, not Islam but people in the "name of Islam" or culture which it brought damaged the country.
Because of the religious reasons printing and press is not used for many years, religion is used as pretext to attack any development. Education, natural and social sciences were omitted. In the past and today tariqas are using religion to manage the masses, as well as governments.
The monastic understanding of Islam is not indigeneous to Islam, but was imported from Europe during the colonial period. Islam was historically never "apart from the world" but "within the world".He has some points. Maybe, not Islam but people in the "name of Islam" or culture which it brought damaged the country.

It's funny how Western arabists and orientalists have taught muslims since 1850s about the golden age of Islam, how there was much scientific advances, urbanism, economic prosperity, advances in agriculture, medicine etc. and both Sunnis and Shia love to use that as an example and being ostentatious about the superficial fact of such advances and such figures' existence but when it comes to the examination of the period such conditions were created and sustained and the types of governance and the figures at the helm of society which made such an era possible, both Sunnis and Shias hate them, the rulers, the dynasties; there's no debate about why was it that such a flourishing could happen and why hasn't it happened since. The monastic understanding of Islam is not indigeneous to Islam, but was imported from Europe during the colonial period. Modern day islamism suffers this feature of rejecting the world, rejecting science, philosophy. I remember I went to a talk once by this Salafi youth group (just accompanying some friends) at the local mosque by my University, and the speaker, a graduate in Biochemistry (!!) was giving a talk on how syllogisms were haram (or something of that ilk this was years ago).......................................

Arabist means an scholar of Arabic philology.Has to be the most western centric bs I read.
Muslims knew their own history regardless of which empire or kingdom.
Golden Age regardless of which era of civilisation has always been made up by scholars and historians overtime. Because its constantly compared to their decline. Even the Spanish had a "Golden Age". Not even the Spaniards realised it.
Islamic golden age ending in 1258 is bs. Because it ignores the Turkic contributions like the Mamluks, Ottomans, Mughals and the Timurids.
Westerners and Pan Arabist historians will conviently leave all that out to suit their own agendas. Not to mention how Western Colonialism used the Islamic Golden age against the Arabs by telling the Arabs look the Barbaric Turks are keeping you down.
Baghdad and the Abbassid Caliphate was in long decline before the Mongol Invasion. It cant be denied that Baghdad was a centre of knowledge but there were also other cities of knowledge like Cordoba, Bukhara, Cairo and Damascus which rivalled Baghdad.
Bernard Lewis's Ottoman Decline thesis has largely been obsolete. The problem is Turkish history are teachers are still teaching Bernard Lewis's obsolete works.
The Ottoman Empire survived its greatest crisises in the 1600s. Despite surviving the cracks were beginning to appear the Ottomans did not just stay do nothing they tried to reform themselves even back then.
Even the Turkish republic goes through its own reforms to keep itself in shape. The advantage it is not an empire not ruling different ethnic groups from Vienna to Baghdad.
Yep, it's bs as there's nothing to that effect in what I wrote.Islamic golden age ending in 1258 is bs. Because it ignores the Turkic contributions like the Mamluks, Ottomans, Mughals and the Timurids.
The UK and Israel are like the US and Israel, politics is not important they can talk whatever they want.
US' Canada openings and this one. It seems for me Jews vs UK have a deep war now. I also assume that Türkiye is an allied of UK and many things are connected to each other including Türkiye's advances in defense industry. I guess there are other things are connected to this such as Palestine...
Can someone explain me what is going on? It might sound as a conspiracy theory but I think some would be agree with me. All my life I thought that they are supporting each other but recently things went out of control in this area. I have difficulties to read this matter.
There are many potential isid members on the streets.
