How we use this natural gas for energy extraction in procentages (electricity for example)?
~25% for power generation (very expensive). Is that number correct? If yes, the upcoming nuclear plants could reduce this numbers. Solar power plants and Wind turbines can also help to reduce natural gas imports.

To date, over 26 million barrels of oil have been produced in Gabar, with a total value approaching 2 billion dollars.
We will very soon reach our ultimate goal of 100,000 barrels of daily oil production.
With the operations in Gabar, Turkey's nationwide daily oil production exceeded 135,000 barrels as of the end of March 2025, setting a new record.
President Erdoğan stated that the first flow of Turkmen natural gas via Iran began on March 1.

He pointed out that over 250 million cubic meters of gas have been supplied through this pipeline so far, adding:
"By the end of the year, we hope to ensure the flow of a total of 1.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Our initial plan is to extend the agreement for another 5 years, while our ultimate goal is to bring Turkmen gas to our country via a Caspian Sea pipeline. If we can achieve this, we will have the opportunity to supply significantly higher volumes of gas for both our country and Europe."

There are no rumor this time. It seems to me these are already planned from the beginning. 500B would be great. :) Another 30-40M m3 daily production would help though. I think they wanted to share these news one by one.

Sakarya:

Phase 1: 12 wells - 10M m3 (completed)
Phase 2: 11 wells - 20M m3
Phase 3: 21 wells - 26M m3

Total is around 46-47 m3

But this is still not even close to average daily need which is around 150M m3. Another 30-40M would be really great.

President Erdoğan, speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the Istanbul Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital, said, "We have made a new natural gas discovery of 75 billion cubic meters in the Göktepe-3 well. Its economic value is 30 billion dollars."
"With this amount, we will be able to meet the needs of our households alone for approximately 3.5 years."

Blacksea gas reserves will eventually reach 1 trillion cubic meters. I think it is time to start drilling for oil in the prospective area off the coast of Rize.

This is not a huge amount but considering what can be done with $ 30 B still substantial.

There will be a total of 44 wells. It is roughly 1 million cubic meters per well.

According to a report by Turkish Media's Ankara Representative, Melik Yiğitel, Bayraktar drew attention to an article published in the Financial Times on March 13, the day the agreement was signed. He said, “There, a reserve amount was mentioned for Diyarbakır in reference to us. This is actually the Americans' own reserve estimates. We are not calling it a discovery yet. But they estimate that there is a 6.1 billion barrel reserve in the Diyarbakır region. This is amazing."

In response to questions after the ceremony held in Gabar the day before, Bayraktar shared the information that Turkey's annual oil imports amount to 365 million barrels. If the reserve discovery in the Diyarbakır basin is confirmed, it would provide oil for Turkey for more than 15 years.

Pointing out that nearly 60% of the 41 million barrel discovery made before the joint work with the Americans is on the Diyarbakır side, Bayraktar stated that with the partnership, they will enter a new era in oil exploration, saying, "Diyarbakır is very important for us."

Bayraktar said, “What we want to do with the Americans in Diyarbakır is related to the production of shale gas and shale oil inside the rocks. We are entering a new phase in Diyarbakır. We are hopeful.” He also mentioned that they continue exploration with traditional methods, stating, "TPAO's most profitable investment is Gabar. We are making a profitable business on a global scale." Bayraktar also mentioned that there are serious exploration activities in the regions up to the Syrian and Iraqi borders and listed other exploration areas as Van, Hakkari, and Şırnak.

"We are currently receiving requests from all over the world saying, 'Come and conduct exploration in our country.' We are receiving requests from Libya. We are already in Somalia. We recently signed an agreement in Pakistan. We will conduct exploration in Pakistan's waters."

"We have conducted 11 deep-sea drillings in the Eastern Mediterranean. In order to drill in the Mediterranean and other areas, I need a ship. Currently, our ships are very busy in the Black Sea. But we have plans for the upcoming period.

We are making efforts to develop fields in the Black Sea. Now, for the second phase, we will pass the floating production platform in Çanakkale through the Bosporus on May 29 and send it to Filyos."

Osman Gazi's mission will begin in 2026

The platform that will double natural gas production at the Sakarya Gas Field in the Black Sea will begin its 20-year mission one year later.

The platform's maximum natural gas processing capacity is 10.5 million cubic meters, and its maximum gas transfer capacity is 10 million cubic meters.

The platform is 298.5 meters long, 56 meters wide, and 29.5 meters deep, with a personnel capacity of 140.

The main gas transmission line from the platform to land will be 161 kilometers long. The processed natural gas will be delivered to land via this line and supplied to the national grid ready for use.

With the floating production platform starting operation in mid-next year, current natural gas production in the Black Sea will double to 20 million cubic meters per day.
