I donot think Putin(or Russia leadership) is going to revive CCCP, Russia is not controlled by a single willpower, same as other country. I also donnot think Russia is going to fail this war. Russia had not ask for help to China(Even anyone has great willing to sell them weapon), the cooperation still keep in economy relationship, same as the relationship with Ukraine.
It seems to me that you, like most of our esteemed forum participants, rarely visit Russian information resources due to your lack of knowledge of the Russian language. I've heard that the Chinese internet is completely disconnected from the global one, and perhaps that's why you can't closely follow events within Russia. And why should the Chinese even care about Russia? After all, it's not (yet) capable of threatening them. But we, small countries—unfortunately located near Russia for centuries—are always on guard.
Such is our fate.
For 600 years, the Russians enslaved each nation individually, gradually and inexorably destroying all significant centers of power along their entire perimeter, across Eurasia.
In Russia and its immediate vicinity, rarely does a nation retain its national independence, its identity, its language, its culture, or even its history. Look at the map: only three peoples neighboring Russia—the Chinese, the Persians, and the Turks—have managed to preserve their independence. And even then, they ceded significant territories and populations to the Russians.
For centuries, unable to resist Russian madness, we perceived it as a natural disaster.
Many of these small peoples, in principle, would not object to existing in the same state with a larger and more powerful nation. Perhaps this is the natural order of things on Earth. Why not?! Take a break from our sinful world and look at the Universe.
Strange, but the same order exists—all the small planets revolve around some larger one. And we humans find this natural.
But listen, we are not soulless planets, aimlessly wandering in an infinite Universe.
We are not Russians. For us—Finns, Lithuanians, Latvians, Poles, Ukrainians, Romanians, Armenians, Georgians, Turks of the Caucasus and Central Asia—everything that is natural for Russians is unacceptable.
Every time the eternally restless, eternally hungry Russians bring to power some madman with ambitions similar to those of Bonaparte, wars, murders, famine, and devastation descend upon all of Eurasia. This has always been the case.
This is the perilous situation we all find ourselves in today
