It's pretty clear that some type of game is being played by the US, hence all the strangely accommodating behavior by Tom Barrack.

He's literally said that Türkiye should stop being a nation state, meanwhile other top US officials have said that strong nation states are the biggest threat to Israel.

A country with so many opportunities, countless advantages, and a unique position that everyone envies, all held back by one greedy man. The recent crackdown on opposition and capture of CHP by KK is just a new low in this descent into becoming another dictatorial shithole.

Everything has been propagandized. Religion has been stuffed into all areas of life. Your qualifications no longer matter. Terrorists have been given legitimacy. All red lines have been crossed by our enemies.

AKP and Erdoğan truly is a revolting shitstain in Türkiye's timeline.

As an admin of a defence industry focused forum, I can honestly say despite being a fan of advancements, I'm seeing an unfortunate propagandization of the defence industry. Unlike other defence platforms I'm not going to sugarcoat it, blatant propagandiztion and the governments mismanagement of the country at large isn't a good sign. I don't mean to dash anyone's hopes, we hold genuine trump cards, but the trajectory isn't good, and the defence industry isn't immune to corruption.

Erdoğan's quest for personal power doesn't benefit you, doesn't benefit me and certainly doesn't benefit Türkiye.

As long as the current opposition remains, Erdogan is the best of the worst! Erdogan is one of the most corrupt politicians, no doubt, but he knows how to play the game

Till this day and people still dont understand how Erdo retains his power after every election; which is by placing a more corrupt, a more incompetent, and a more greedy opposition

As I said in one of my previous posts, after Erdogan lost the municipal elections back in 2024, Erdo was 0.5-3 points behind the CHP (according to most polls) and the CHP managed to take control of nearly all important cities! Now what is the situation, you ask? According to most polls, Erdogan is ahead by 5 points compared to the CHP! The people, within the last 2 years, experienced what it means to be under a CHP-led rule and have indirectly concluded that a corrupt AKP is better than a corrupt CHP

From Tanju Ozcan, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, Ali Mahir Basarir, Ozgur Ozel, Umit Ozdag, Müsavat Dervişoğlu, Ince and above all, Ekrem Imamoglu; you cant expect an opposition that is led by these fools to win against Erdogan.

Tanju Ozcan, alone, is an intelligence hazard and should be liquidated and guess what, he is among the least worst of the list

Why do you still associate KK with the opposition when he's quite clearly Devlet Bahçeli 2.0?

Meanwhile with Dervişoğlu and Özdağ, they are complete angels compared to the rest, if anyone means well it's Özdağ

As for İmamoğlu and Ozgur Özel, they literally led CHP to become the biggest party. CHP held all major cities, but AKP illegally intervened to bring them down, don't you think it's disingenuous to call them fools when AKP is clearly absuing their powers against the the will of the nation?

As many here in the forum know, I generally sympathize with Erdoğan, without being a blind supporter. While undeniable and serious mistakes have been made in domestic policy, I view these as the price the country must pay for its foreign policy and strategic independence. Turkey's path toward an autonomous policy is inherently accompanied by significant economic pressure from abroad. This manifests itself, among other things, in targeted downgrades by US and European rating agencies, a persistent negative framing in Western media, as well as blockades and sanctions that have direct impacts on the national currency, international investor confidence, and global supply chains.

Therefore, it falls short to portray the economic turbulence as a purely homegrown problem. If politicians like İmamoğlu or Özel were in power today and pursued the same legitimate claim to independence—whether in the defense industry, trade, or the Mavi Vatan (Blue Homeland) doctrine—the external pressure would be exactly the same. This is not an exclusive "Erdoğan problem," but rather the West's lack of willingness to accept Turkey as a partner on equal terms, given its geographical and strategic key role. The government's much-debated interest rate policy merely acted as a catalyst within this framework, the harsh consequences of which the population must now bear, but it was not the actual root cause.

I also consider the thesis that Kılıçdaroğlu was Erdoğan's puppet to be completely false. In the last presidential election, he was almost neck and neck and was backed by an unprecedented, cross-party alliance. Rather, his failure was the result of fundamental strategic mistakes during the election campaign. Instead of building bridges, he positioned himself aggressively against Erdoğan in almost every interview, completely failing to connect emotionally with the traditionally conservative, religious center-right electorate. By not only criticizing the policies but often launching sweeping attacks on Erdoğan and his voter base, he ultimately drove the conservative center back into the government's camp. Instead of prioritizing the real economic concerns of these people and proving economic competence, the campaign often devolved into a moral mudslinging match. When conservative voters feel belittled by the opposition leader, they will, when in doubt, choose the familiar—namely Erdoğan—even if they are suffering from inflation.

The second crucial mistake of the opposition was disparaging national prestige projects in the defense industry, simply because their initial spark originated from the AKP or was heavily supported by it. Strategically speaking, a party must not attack projects that benefit the entire country while simultaneously strengthening the collective self-confidence of the population. Success breeds success—a phenomenon that can also be seen historically in Germany, where achievements in sports, technology, and the economy have shaped the nation's self-image for over half a century. By discrediting these successes instead of embracing them as a source of non-partisan national pride, the opposition cost itself the election victory.

That is just my opinion on the matter...
You live in a democratic country but support a dictator in your own nation that tells a lot about your character.

Umit Özdağ: "Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi first stated that the citizenships granted to foreigners would not be revoked. Then, Turkey's Ambassador to Damascus, Nuh Yılmaz, said that for Syrians in Turkey, it's no longer about return but about integration that will be discussed. This was followed by Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi's announcement that Syrian refugees can now work in Turkey without a work permit (just like Turkish citizens). It wouldn't be surprising at all if citizenship is granted to millions of Syrians in Turkey before the elections."

This mentality is just absurd. It seems like many people have some type of emotional attachment to Erdoğan. There's plenty of much better candidates; I guess this type of submissive mentality crushes any logic. Almost like Stockholm Syndrome.

Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi: "'In line with our goal of a 'Terror-Free Turkey'; we have terminated the 2,763 control and search point operations.'"

@Zafer , @Bogeyman , @Lool

Give some explanation on this news? PKK terrorists are being freed, they hold rallies on the streets, now your government won’t even police the Southeast of the country… Weren’t they “Yerli ve milli”? Why are you guys licking PKKs balls?

You did these stupidities once in 2013 and later Turkey lost thousands of soldiers and civilians to fight terrorists and now you are doing it again. You are not stupid so why do you do this again?
