since Turkey is next on the list of nations to be eliminated for Israeli security and hegemony
Why do you all keep saying this? You see Arabs get humiliated and you think we're the same level of these people.
"If Arabs can be bombed, then Turks can too" yeah no. disagree.
it reduces the trust the gulf has for the West as a security guarantor
GULF never trusted the West, but they don't have much choice.
this provides Turkey with more space to wiggle into a potential weapons market while increasing its geopolitical importance as a security guarantor to the gulf.
If you're implying we'd replace US as the masters of the Arabs then that's not happening.
The Arabs would rather seek Russian and Chinese.
Turkey from Turkey-Syria-Jordan-Saudi Arabia-Yemen as a more stable alternative to strait of Hormuz
This could be useful yes.
Turkey wont suffer a lot if this war continues
Agreed.

A well known mediator calls the current situation as the "Mutual Suffering Syndrome ". The one or both will come to the negotiations once this Syndrome is reached!!!

If I remember correctly, the integration of the U.S. military and the Israeli military began a long time ago. The U.S. law H.R. 8445 which is pushing on, recognizes time spent serving in the Israeli military as time served in the U.S. military.

The US is officially an Israeli colony.

On one hand you've got to admire the Israelis. They play the game really good. On the other, they stirred the hornets nest. There is going to be serious repercussions. This is treason after all.

A veto would mean Congress is not there. Do you think even Trump can ignore Congress?
Abi as you know, it still will have to go senate first and Republicans have the majority there. Yet, electors at many constituencies clearly standing out against their representatives. As much as I observe, at state level, they’re particularly angry to their senators. So, maybe a shift might be in order at senate as well.
Can Trump veto a decision accepted by both houses? Trump known with his “very strong” victorious step backs. As long as his entourage find very strong victory, he’ll probably give in.

Then what? USA will leave Hormuz to Iran just because Senate does not like Trump's actions?

Midterm elections.... Look at how markets ease so fast and prices goes up and down. Because the prices are so easily affected the damage won't be so horrid, which may be why the situation is not allowed to peace out it's being kept alive. Wearing down peoples patience.

On Wednesday, the Pentagon reported on its casualties website that a total of 18 American service members had been killed during the war in Iran. By Thursday, the Defense Department had lowered that number, reporting that 14 American troops had been killed in the war.

Officials said that one reason behind the change was that the Trump administration decided to remove four service members killed this past weekend from the list because their deaths occurred after President Trump declared a cease-fire in the war in April.
