That doesn't answer my question. If the Chinese are so effective at being able to spot fake news / propaganda - why do you think the CCP doesn't trust its people and remove censorship?
Better doesn't mean all people are not vulnerable to fake news and disinformation. The internet will be monitored more or less everywhere, it's unavoidable, so much hate crimes and riots are caused by lies and disinfromation spreaded on the internet which result in a lot of casualties every year. India is also thinking about monitoring the internet and regulating the social media, it's coming, google and find it out. And China can't allow social media to be in foreign hands, it is very dangerous for any countries which have no control of their own major social media platforms. I support India's ban on Tik Tok, who knows when those platforms can be used against India in the future and by then they would have grown too big to ban. every country should have their own social media systems.
