Anatolia was the homeland of the ancient Anatolians.

Not the Greeks, Armenians and Kurds. For centuries Anatolia was conquered and settled by many peoples and empires.

Who won at the end its the Turks. Anatolia is our homeland and always will be.

Most Romanians deserted Austro Hungarian regiments in WW1 or were shipped on other fronts because they didn't want to face Romanian troops but as I've pointed above most of the French colonial troops were Muslim VOLUNTEERS

Thats true, but the problem comes from modern narratives being enforced on history. We got scrutiny about historical shit from countries that have done either the same or even much worse. If you are going to push a moral lens on history then it should be applied universaly and not wether that you like a country or not. This is the case more often then not. Objective history is dead for the average citizen. Thats where the French are so disgustingly hypocritical, more so then any other countries in the world imo. Even here in the Netherlands there is very little, almost nothing being taught about the atrocities being commited in Indonesia and what little is being taught is simply veiled.

People don't like to talk about their nations past atrocities, it's the same for Turkey.
But, I agree with you, French parliament passing Armenian genocide bills is hypocritical and counter productive.
The Germans/ Nazis get flak for 4 years of terror in Europe while tiny, innocent,cute, little harmless Belgium ran their private Auchswitz for 30 years in the Congo....the whole country was Sobibor....
