18 Rafales armed with 6 Meteors each can wipe out almost half the Turkish fighter force in one encounter.

Meteor is definitely a class of its own, but this is unlikely....TuAF would have gamed this in....every system has counters no matter how good it may be....esp if you are NATO too you would have better idea.

On larger note, the situation is tense, but I do not think any conflict/war will happen.

Meteor is certainly dangerous but our Bora and SOM missiles are much much more dangerous in my opinion. Let us not forget that you dont have to use aircraft to destroy another aircraft. You can take them out in the airfields as well.

The comparison of single weapon systems in a fictive situation to make a biased comment is ridiculous and unrealistic. Success is the result of the interaction of every weapon system, sensors, soldiers on the field and more. Here everything (human and machine) has to play his part to be successful.

Here turkey with his long term planning, a growing defence industry and domestically produced strategic weapon systems has clearly the upper hand.

According to several sources Greece will acquire 6 new Rafale while 12 will be second hand (Free?) to replace the old Mirage 2000s in service. (Not the 2000-5)

The 4 frigates and their class remain unknown, all speculations are open. (French,US,German etc.)

I know, but is a proper simplistic response to the "hurr durr, Ballistic missiles will destroy the Hellenic AF on the ground " kind of crowd.

After the planes destroy the Turkish fleet, they will have to landing to the sea. Because they won't find the airbase to land. Fighting is not easy like you think.

Can you explain that special scenario.
I will explain. In one encounter over 100 Turkish fighter jets will be airborne (perhaps 200). The Greek Rafales will each lock onto 6 Turkish fighters simultaneously and take them out. 18 x 6 = 108. Also some Turkish jets will crash into other Turkish jets (like in bowling) meaning that half of the Turkish airforce will be destroyed in one encounter.

All the Greeks need to do this, is just enough aviation fuel for each jet to take off. Since there are no funds for aviation fuel perhaps UAE will supply the fuel.

It is not simplistic. Good luck scoring constant hits on highly maneuverable aircraft at max half a generation behind while they sport RWR, EW and supported by AWACS. Don't forget the Koral EW, which is an airforce system so it will support any Turkish CAP and strike package. The Koral blinding the Rafale radars while the E-7T provides updates through datalink to the F-16's, will make sure that the F-16's will employ their AMRAAMs before the Rafale can acquire them through the IRST.

It really is much easier to target airbases with precision guided missiles, either cruise, ballistic or guided rocket artillery. And Turkey has enough of them to destroy every Greek hangar and aircraft shelter. The SAM's won't intercept all these missiles either by sheer probability of hit or by SEAD operations by aircraft and suicide drones.

Problem is how long those jets while live in case of a war because because if most of them are destroyed than greece doesn't have capability to replace them

The problem is that both France and Germany consider Greece a "gate keeper" of sorts, a first line of defense against an increasingly resurgent Turkey. They bailed them out before, throughout history, and the rest assured they will do it again.

Therefore, Turkey has to build up its military, economic and geo-strategic capabilities around countering powers like France and Germany... not weak pawns like Greece. Here are some ideas that will make Makron and Merkel apply the breaks on their Greek-backing:

  • Recruit from the 3.5 million Turks in Germany to organize riots protesting Germany's anti-Turkey policies
  • Provide support to the breakaway Basque, Catalonia, Corsica and other separatists in France
(like they do to PKK/YPG against Turkey)
  • Facilitate more migrant travel into Western Europe (from Libya, Algeria, etc)
The general idea is to make "being anti-Turkish" extremely costly to politicans like Macron, Merkel and Kurz.

Let’s not do that.

we need to exert pressure on HAF and need to find ways to stop the Greek Navy / coast guard pushing back refugees.

in a way help refugees get into EU. That will work wonders in itself.
