Turkish FAC conceptual-realized designs, will be presented in three parts:
I. Dedicated FAC platforms for TN-FAC project
II. FAC designs altered from patrol boat designs
III. FIC-FIB-FAB designs

FAC: Fast Attack Craft
FIC: Fast Intervention Craft
FI(A)B: Fast Intervention/Attack Boat
TN-FAC: Turkish New type FAC, also referred as (Turk tipi hücumbot -TTHB)

TN-FAC project requirements as stated by SSB:
- Search radar (Smart-S / Mar-D).
- CIWS/Point defence system (RAM variant)
- 76 mm naval cannon
- low RCS , low visual profile
- 60-65 knots maximum speed (revised to 50-55) at particular sea state, and 30 knots at a higher sea state.
- 8 SSM
- RWS
- ECS /EW units

Part I Dedicated FAC platforms
STM FAC 55: Conceptual design by STM, low visual and radar profile with streamlined design. Front facing hidden SSM launchers. Steel construction /possible aluminium supper structure, with planning hull form.
SSB has awarded a contract to STM, following model scale tests, for development of a FAC system. However final platform may have different mast to host more systems.

Yonca Onuk JV, offered one design, the new member of MRTP family, MRTP 49; Composite body and planning hull.
MRTP 49 (or 50+) presents 4 SSM, upgradable to 8 hidden in box launchers.

ARES Shipyard, 63/70 Atılgan developed in partnership with Rolls-Royce (patented hull-bulbous bow design of P2500).SSMs are on the deck, not hidden,Low profile- low RCS and simple supper structure design.

ADIK has revealed one of the earliest designs on TN-FAC, with similar bridge structure with Milgem ADA class and common antenna mast. The design has caught eye in the first time but later evaluations has made it obvious that RAM's vision is dramatically effected by large mast and bridge. Moreover, the platform had a higher profile which was not in lieu with requirements.

TAIS has presented a model similar to ADIK's with a conical mast with an axe /X or inverted bow design.

RMK Marine has presented two different designs, one seemed to be developed by themselves and other is based on TBS Yard's FBP-60. RMK FAC-1 had fixed panel aesa radar in cooperation with aselsan.

Istanbul shipyard has proposed 2 designs, one of them was Surface effect ship.

Part II FAC Designs (either altered from patrol boat designs, or designed as FAC)

Ares shipyard offers FAC/FAB in three tiers of varying sizes, tier II and III is presented here:
Tier III carries 8 SSM (MR), 2 x 2 SAM launchers (SIMBAD RC), 2D radar, 1 x 30 mm + 1 x RWS and 1 larger RWS at the fore.
Length 48+ Meters, Top speed: 40+ Knots

Tier II carries 4 SSM (MR) , 2 x 2 SAM (SIMBAD RC), 1x 30mm + 1x RWS, 2D search radar.
Length varies between designs :42-35 meters, Top speed: 40+ Knots

Dearsan has 2 FAC models, despite of one is designed for Turkmenistan Navy, a modified version of NTPB.

NTPB variant has 4 Otomat MKII (replacable with 2 x 4 MRAShM) ,2 x 2 SAM (SIMBAD RC) , Bofors 57mm cannon, 2 x 25mm + 2 x 12 mm RWS, and ASW Rocket launcher. 2D search radar and advanced E/O is present.
Dimensions are assumed as similar to the NTPB, Length 57 Meters, Range 2000 NM at 15 Knots, Top: 25+ Knots

Another design which is relatively smaller, carries 2 x 2 SSM (MR) , 1 x 2 SAM (SIMBAD RC), 1 x 40 mm cannon and 2 x RWS:
Length: 43 Meters, Range: 1000 NM at 15 Knots, Top: 40+ Knots

RMK has presented an all aliminum FAC in 2011:

Configured with 2 x 2 or 2 x 4 SSM (MR) , 1 x 30/40 mm RWS at fore, 2 x RWS ,2 x 2 SAM (SIMBAD RC) , FCR , 2D radar and Advanced E/O is present.
Length 42 Meters, Range 2000 NM at 15 Knots, Top 35+ Knots.

Yonca Onuk has MRTP 33/34+

Configurable with 4 (8 at larger variant) SSM and 2D search radar, 1x 30 mm + 1/2 x 12 mm optional (at larger variant) also 2 x 2 SAM (SIMBAD RC) can be added.
Length 34 meters (34+ at larger versions), Range 750 NM at 15 Knots, Top: 45 Knots

TAIS FAC:
Configured with 2 x 2 SSM (MR) ,1 x 2 SAM (SIMBAD RC) , 1 x 30 mm RWS as fore cannon , 2 x RWS ,3D search radar (hints possible integration of other SAM systems)

Need something like a skjold class FAC with air cushioned catamaran and their pop up missile launcher.
I believ there's no FAC comes close to this till this day.

We should have more FAC around 40+ meter size with nasty arms configuration. As things are now, we need our own propulsion system for naval vessels.

STM FAC 55 has pop up SSM launchers. and has speed of 55+ knots, it is twice as large.
If you are rather referring to <300 tonnes FAC which solely focuses on hit and run, without 3D radar and EW suite and self defence systems yes there is nothing close to skjold.

I remembered such from the first vessel, 3D search radar and EWS was not present. I checked now and those were installed, also mast looks strengthened from the first design. Either it was configurable or added later. Since i remember there was 2D radar in place of MRR-3D and top of mast was empty.

At one of the reportages done with SSB, It was said that preperations came close to an end for serial production of FAC program. Under the light of this reportage, I reached a result like the budget allocated for this program will be approved in a short time and SSB will give a green light for serial production in following months. I care about this project too much because this fast crafts equipped with national missiles and 3D radars will be an important leg of Turkish network centric warfare concept on Mavi Vatan. If we consider the superior speed of these FACs, they will play major role to detect enemy ships in close seas where island-like terrains block the horizon and creating blind sector on radar screen. When It is needed, These crafts will be able to deal with frigates as well.

I think Turkish Navy will change the strategy in following years. The number of these very fast FACs will be increased and the tonnages of the ships will be seperated to a large scale. This concept will be created because of the new requirements of network centric warfare and changing threat environment. All these developments will force us to produce a large fleet from smaller to way bigger.
