Ertugurl clothes are also innaccurate the Seljuks and Ottomans all wore armour also colourful outfits.

Seriously historical reactments can be recurited or at least look into history of what outfits they wore but lets make something up. Sad thing is people think they dressed like this.

Futurism does not exist in Islam, a Islamist would say. ;)
You know Allama Iqbal initially was sceptical about the Turkish Republic and the reforms launched by Kemal Ataturk but very soon seemed to take positive outlook on this 'experiment'. He says in his "Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam" [I would highly recommend you read it] that the Turkish Assembly might end up evolving a Islamic society that is shorn of Arab medieval practices and thus release the potential of the Turkish nation to make progress. I suppose he was right. I can't think of any Muslim country today as successful as yours.

Having just come back from a 5 week tour of Pakistan I tell you it is tragedy. This is a country with incredible potential. A history glorious that would place it with all the ancient greats like Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, China. A land littered with archeaological wonders of the past. A land where east met west, north met the south. A rich tapestry of ethnic groups, from blondes in the north, to everything inbetwen to the Blacks Africans on the south coast, a legacy of slavery.

But the country has been held back by being trapped in the past, riven by religious schism, religious intolerance and insularity. This has made it a "no progress zone". I root for the day which I will nopt see, but will happen when the country rises. But it will only rise when the mullah is muzzled. Unfortunately we don't have a Attaturk to free us from Arab medievalism.

No,i think he is Pakistani.
Whoever he is, he needs medical attention. First I found him amusing but then it became annoying. Then I just consigned him to a be "nutty Turk". If he is as you say then he must be a patient at a mental faciility who has access to internet.

Where are we heading as Muslims? I really wonder. From richest to poorest, everybody is kissing an a*s... Turkish developments related to defense industry is my only hope that they shouldn't fail lol

Your economy is doing well, no other Muslim country comes close. You have all the basics sorted out and now are on a platform where you can head to be highly developed first country. I was in Istanbul recently. I saw the energy and vibrancy. And i don't kiss no arse. I say as I see and think.

Turkish developments related to defense industry is my only hope lol
Defence industry alone will never go anywhere alone. It merely is consolidation and manifestation of the societal development. That is higher education, technological innovation, economic prosperity and the cross spectrum of economic activity of any country. In other words defence industry is merely a barometer of the general developent of a country.

@Yankeestani Blast from the past. My mum, me standing in background and siblings taken Dec 1969.

1969-a Aloof Young Indus with Family in the UK probably thinking about a random English girl in first grade and not realizing that 50 years later that world wide web would upload this cute picture

50 years later members who never saw the 1970s,1980s, or most of the 1990s we see this wholesome picture

I might be visiting Pakistan soon with my pops to handle some family "affairs" but you are right they are so much potential Pakistan but mindset needs change you can educate and have MIT,Harvard or any institution of high caliber but mindset is the problem until we figure out what it means to be a "Pakistani" in the 21st century we just going be stagnant and be plaything for whatever hegemonic power needs us for time period

Guys, it's been annoying me but Hakikat at PDF. Is he Turkish?

@KKF 2.0 @T-123456 etc

Nah he ain't a Turk rumors say he is probably a Bangladeshi who is intrigued by Ottoman Empire and the current political situation of the Turkish Government under RTE.

He is probably a bot for all we know
Well,i think he is just fascinated with the Ottoman past.

Dead empire get over it great to remember but Turkey needs a new direction sometimes I kinda wish the USSR or Yugoslavia still existed but that's a pipe dream tbh what needs to happen is regional interaction and integration
