I wish we can Just bombard them with dumb bomb or rocket after knowing their position. Shocking them with bombardment will be great, put them to corner and separate them. Start hunting down their small group.
Is that wrong if I suggest to record their execution by one of our clandestine operator? In matter to carve terror deep to their heart so they can compare and understand as well that the men with arms always equal in sadistic way.🤡
Bad for local and international community.

What do you think about cn235 gunship, IMHO the gunship would be better compared to super tucano or army choppers, it have longer range and longer loitering time, and about the weapons the gunship have better accuracy compared to super tucano(strafing fire) unless super tucano use PGM which is more expensive, the gunship have more situational awareness and more focused because the crews that fly the plane and the one that operate the gun is different (although super tucano also have WSO, the gunship crews can focus more IMO), the gunship gun crews can observe the battle ground better because less workload(probably) and the plane fly with less acrobatic maneuver.

But the problem is there is no such thing as cn235 gunship yet in our inventory, does the project still ongoing?

Super tucano that exist is still better compared to cn235 gunship that didn't exist, long endurance UCAV is also good choice. I think choppers can't fly for long time to loiter the area and provide fire support any time and can't react swiftly if it still at the base, but still good to ambush the enemy.

US Army has Long Range Precision Strike
http://garudamiliter.blogspot.com/2021/04/dunia-jenderal-au-dan-ad-amerika.html

And US Marines has PrSM (Precision Strike Missile)

Apparently, the future of battlefield theater would be a lot more bigger with this long range precison strike capability. Whilst, on the 1st front would be plenty of UGV skirmish combined with conventional ground forces. Not to mentioned with all of these drones/loyal wingman stuff.

TNI and MoD should be able to anticipate these future kind of war with continuously renewed doctrines. Not just satisfy and stuck with this "Komcad" of the "Perang Rakyat Semesta".

They had and Made some preparation

even though this is not the best subforum to talk about sutuc , you're mentioning about situational awareness , i wonder if our super tucano also include underbelly Electro Optic Camera on its package , because i've never seen one until now .

Densus 88 be like: "Finally!, after all this years, We can kick that shit"

well yea this is intersting since a long time ago their status is only KKB or Armed -Separatist- Criminal Group, Densus 88 can't go straight to after them, but after the status has been raised to term of "terorrist", the authority has been given to our SF to do their job

Personally, I want to see Aceh-style solutions for Papua. Disarm the OPM and let them make their own party/parties. I don't wanna see kind of never ending Afghanistan-like situations in Papua.

Maybe the negotiations will be alot, but if I'm the one that have the power to make the decision, Aceh-style solutions will be my number 1 priority.

Aceh is successful because there's a natural disaster happening at that time which cause a cease fire, that time Aceh really need central government support to help them in disaster relief and economic recovery so they started peace negotiation.

if not because of tsunami, Aceh probably became our own Afghanistan.

IF we do that then we open a can of worm that no one can close again for the whole country. There will be no more unified Nusantara under Sang Dwi Warna, instead you get heavily Balkanized Nusantara

Yes i hope so, that would be nice solution, but what else we can offer to them,

-Make Papua as a special region -check

-Make Papua administratively special (there are some exclusively rules or law that only existed on eastern region of Indonesia especially in Papua in order to "meringankan" such as the taxes, import rules, extra quota for recruited soldier, same prices with price in Java for any basic goods ((fuel, foods, building material and such)) -check

-Build many infrastructure in Papua -check (but the OPM attacks some of it)

And etc, you may add it yourself and correct me if im wrong

The Gov't really works really hard for Papua, but there are still some of ,i would say "oknum", they just messing around with the states, not to mention person such as Benny Wenda, Veronica Koman and the others, those people spreading wrong information, and acted like they were victim of it, and what a luck they are overseas now,

I do really hopes that the Papuan problem can be solved with discussion and diplomatically, but if there's still people using a gun to fight a word, we should fight them back

*edit, about that OPM to be a parties i would disagree with that, tadi ga ngeh ada bagian itu

Thats what I am talking about.
Small arms intrusion should be responded with bang bang bang and kaboooom. Fire work baby!!!💣💥💣💥
i would rather loved to see our soldiers fully equipped with grenade launcher, since the bullet cant pass through woods, ledakan yang diarahkan dan diatur sedemikian rupa would have a greater effect for them

I admit, I was more to the idea of doing military solution for Papua before. But, when I think again about the number of the... Ya can be called as pro-OPM protesters few years ago, I don't think we can easily end this problem just by raiding their camps, safe houses, capture their important guys and say "ok, the problem solved". I really think that we can't found the light in the end of the tunnel by shooting the gun for Papua problem.
