He was not the last. Peres wanted to make Palestinian state, but thanks to Hamas he lost elections. Then Barak PM offered Palestinians a state and got second Intifada in return. Then Olmert offered Palestinians a state and got rockets from Gaza and Lebanon.

Your beloved Hamas does not posses any threat to Israel at all. The last state which could fight Israel (Syria) was destroyed by Iran.

The Arab betrayal almost turned the Turks into Palestinians. While the Turks were protecting the holy lands from British and French invasion, the arabs were sucking them off and attacking the Turks from behind. Still to this very day the Arabs do not repent for this treachery. Now they watch the jews slap them about and their is nothing 20 plus arab nations can do about it.

A bit off-topic but observing this conflict is interesting for two main reasons.

1. Both sides are fighting like cornered cats. Hamas especially has been going all out with the rockets. Israel I think hasn't even unleashed most of their potential, but will strike back disproportionally sooner or later.
2. The close proximity and clear footage makes it look surreal. Most combat footage is usually taken in rural areas, from far away. This on the other hand is being fought in a tight urban environment, and most of the footage is just incredibly clear. Seeing an entire building crumble after being hit by consecutive strikes is just crazy.

By the way, I know that emotions are running high for some people here, but please follow the rules.

First of all Hamas launched many such drones.

Secondly this is not a "chemical plant" but small plastic sealant factory located in village right on Gaza's border. They could shell it with mortars/short range rockets easily, but for propaganda wasted a drone.
