Orhan Inandi was kidnapped and being held somewhere in Bishkek, according to unconfirmed data: Lawyer
AKIPRESS.COM - Orhan Inandi was kidnapped and being held somewhere in Bishkek, according to unconfirmed data, said lawyer Zootbek Kudaibergenov at a press conference in AKIpress on June 1.
President of Sapat schools in Bishkek Orhan Inandi went missing on the night of June 1. Police said Mr Inandi left his home on May 31 evening at around 6 pm driving his Lexus GX470. At around 4:20 am on June 1, this car was found between apartment buildings on the Maldybaev street. The car was open, but the driver was missing. The police were called in. The investigators arrived on the scene, the son filed a missing person report. His search is under way.
According to the lawyer, the car was parked near a cafe. Despite the fact that it was open, nothing went missing from it, it contained valuables, a phone and other things.
The lawyer assumed that because the valuables were not stolen, there was no intent to rob Inandi.
"We are grateful that the president has turned attention to what happened, but we would like the Bishkek city police department or the Interior Ministry to deal with it," Kudaibergenov said.
Sapat's deputy head Amir Sultanmuratov said that for the past 7-8 years political persecution has prevented citizens working in Sapat from traveling to Turkey.
Vice president of Sapat Raina Asakeeva said Orhan Inandi has been working in Kyrgyzstan since 1995, and since 2001 he has been the President of Sapat.
PS: Kyrgyzstan was the only Turkic country that rejected to close the FETO schools. Now the Kyrgyzstan president Sadyr Japarov gave instructions to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to reinforce the search operations and make everything possible in order to find Orhan Inandi.
