One problem with Islam is you are not supposed to ask questions but follow the rules/leaders. Do you see where the problem lies now?
Not unconditionally by my understanding, if he is opressor, unjust etc., actually it is your duty to raise the voice.
So, democracy is must from that reason but it is up to society with what it will fill and you there have wast space from islamic bacground as corrective mechanism.

Ok great, then, what are you waiting for?
Is it ok as long as others are being oppressed so you wait with raising voice until it hits you?

No, any opression on anybody, only unclear thing might be definiton of opression, it is wide topic even for academia and society in general and we probably will not find common ground, so i will stop here, do not want to be misundestood and go in that direction beyond my knowledge.

There are people in Turkey who dont get accepted to simplest jobs in municipality or dont recieve goverment support because they are not member to a certain party, not to mention the gross Human and Constitutional rights of a big part of Turkish citizen.
So you are basically saying to me that you neglect your duty as a good muslim in favor of a leader whom you support fanatically, and the ironic part is that the support also comes for religious reasons.
Well, yeah you seem to define oppression differently as you said, im pretty sure your definition would change too if it hit you.

But a good attempt in excusing the double standard gotta give you that, A for the effort.

Ex AKP MP and columnist:

So we weren't under crusader siege

Now we have come to the end of the story… On the one hand, we adjusted to Europe by saying "Nazis are Nazis...", and on the other hand, we found the bottom of the rhythm with statements such as "Imperialist powers are in alliance with the traitors inside to stop Turkey's growth", pointing to the United States.

And now, seeing the end of the story, we set off to rediscover America and Europe. The evaluations of President Tayyip Erdoğan after the bilateral meetings with Western leaders, especially Biden, on the occasion of the NATO summit in Brussels, show that Turkey is in a new search. In fact, these negotiations and evaluations are quite natural for a country that is a NATO member. This is the natural behavior of all countries within the alliance family.

Unnatural; It was his evaluation of the world in which Turkey is located as a "Crusader mentality..." I think Turkey is no longer seeing the West as an alliance that came together to destroy us…

President Erdogan's evaluations after the talks tell us this.

Describing the meeting with Biden as "extremely helpful and sincere", Erdogan said: "We see that there is a strong will to start a period of productive cooperation based on mutual respect and interest in all fields. We think that there is no unsolvable problem in Turkey-US relations, on the contrary, our areas of cooperation show a broader and richer outlook than the problem headings.”

This meeting also confirmed that Turkey is determined to strengthen relations with the United States. In fact, saying that on the way to the NATO summit that Biden would bring up the definition of 1915 as the "Armenian genocide" on April 24, Mr. Erdogan clearly demonstrated this determination by saying "Thank God it never came to the agenda" in the bilateral meeting.

Regarding his meeting with President Erdoğan Makron, he said the following: “Syria focused on whether we could do a joint study on Libya. We said we can do it. We will continue our discussions on this issue.”

Although concrete steps could not be taken regarding the PYD-PKK, S-400s and F-35s, it seems that there is a determined will to take joint steps with America and Europe.

So we were not under the siege of the Crusaders…

It means that foreign powers were not responsible for the economic crisis, the 128 billion dollars to whom it was sold, for how much, corruption, nepotism, and the bad smells emanating from the gang-mafia-politics axis...

This means that rational relations with all countries in economic and political terms can be maintained on the condition that mutual interests are taken as a basis.

No matter what anyone says, this is a strange country. I don't really know how to understand how journalists, academics and all those close to the government, who until yesterday, "we are fighting for liberation against the imperialist powers", suddenly display an Americanist image and turn into a "patty of love". They probably know something...

That is why I fqing hate the opposition
They dont do anything productive
They just bark like dogs from Aksener to Imamoglu and Yavas
They have no vision, they dont give anything productive
All what they do is just criticize
They only dream of the chair of presidency
Now they are attacking one of the few ppl who was responsible for the rise in turkish defense industry rather than protecting him
I believe RTE himself said instead of criticizing why dont u go feed the ppl and they twisted it as if he is relegating his job to them
The same happened yesterday in the NATO summit
The opposition is a farce
Iam really worried about turkey after 2023 under the CHP rule
Truly dispicable

I said it before amd I will say it again: ""You can never solve an evil by replacing it with even a greater evil""
I just hope that turkey wont turn to the new EGYPT since that would be just sad

İts not CHP or AKP. İsmail Demir is a great man. He always says defence industry is beyond parties. He never criticised CHP or other opposition parties. People are shitting on him because he is signed by Erdogan government.

Lets say, certain unskilled piano player does not discredit music...., i mean you have instrument, rest is up to you and destiny.
Undisputable fact is that for any problem in society you have solution in islam, people choose will they use it or close the eyes in front of the problem.
Problem is not Islam. Nobody said that, does Islam says it's okay to steal ? Of course it doesn't say. We have been thought that, you shouldn't eat a single cherry from someone else's tree. Because that cherry is the right, of the owner of that tree and you would be sinning.

However when you look at "Islamists" (not to be confused with religious people), they use Islam for their own benefit.

But If you are implying sharia law for Turkey..... simply no.

That is literally what I meant
The opposition is attacking him just because he is signed by the AKP government; this way they create a ruckus, shift public opinion and obtain votes
Did they even for a moment care about the consequence of such an action or what turkey might lose as a whole (away from the akp and chp), obviously not!
And the lovely ignorant masses will take the bait

Why are you preaching to us, how great the man is?

Are you not going to comment anything on what he did? Is it completely irrelevant?

I don't understand you guys logic. Let's say, if tomorrow Ismail Demir is arrested for rape and murder, with solid evidence, would you still defend him?

My father in law is like you.

He says, "what had mansur yavaş done". I say look at his twitter and see what he has done. He says, "no, i'm not gonna look".
Then i say "let me open you a video, where he tells about, what he had done in the last 2 years". He says "no, i'm not gonna watch him".
Then i say "okay, then let me tell you about what he done". He says "No, i don't wanna listen".

Nothing can be done against people, who wants to play 3 monkeys.

Ismail Demir admitted he had stayed at hotel. Thanks to free journalists we learned he and his family were gifted 20 days very very expensive holiday package.

His holiday cost to his friend at least 10k EUR. Yeah there is nothing wrong with it.

Bro, he himself admitted that he stayed in a luxury hotel. Where room price is between 50.000 to 100.000 TL. At least for 5 days and all his expenses covered by his business man friend. Who pays for a friend's holiday costing at least 500.000 Liras.

More over he stayed in a hotel where hotels owners has business in defense industry. And Ismail Demir's friend and this hotel owner has business ventures.

Bro, in Finland Prime minister is under investigation for accepting €300 breakfast.

Look, just say, this whole situation with is normal, ethic, by your standarts. Please, say that.

He is being honest. If he was lying he wouldn't give an interview to Sözcü.

If so, his friend is paying for holiday. Thats nothing you can speak about. İts between him and his friend. Maybe it was a business holiday ?
