Do you believe he made a deal in the hotel if that is your opinion? Or he shouldn't accepted that gift? IF you say ther is more just stop ther, if you say gift is not allowed then you are right.
I never said "He made a deal in the hotel" don't do that.

How many times do i need to say. As a state worker he can't accept gifts. Not only is it's not ethical and unmoral but it's a crime by law. You can't even accept a neck tie buthe is accepting a 50.000 euros gift.

And this is the only thing i'm saying. I didn't go deep into this subject. Like who owns this hotel, whom else stayed in this hotel for free. Where is the owner of the hotel now. I'm not going in there.

Someone in that position shouldn't even go to an hotel resort known to have high status people in the first place. If he wanted a vacation he should had rented an safe vacation home. I as a civilian can predict "because it the only hotel open during Covid" and go to there, take pictures of the head the countries strategic industry while vacationing in his "long friends" hotel. Imagine what an spy can do. I see someone incompetent. He should have a very good understanding of OpSec

Let's be honest, the amount you mention in there is literally nothing for amount of the bribes going on around. It does need an indepth investigation before concluding that stay at luxury hotel was linked to a bribe or such. I would rather want to see if they have a relationship in the past before 2000 as friends.

The bigger problem here is, there is nobody to investigate those claims even briefly or as a cover up.
The pathetic side is all we learned from Sedat Peker. Turkish courts and prosecutors have been lost , just opposition media speak out

Guys why do you need a person sanctify? If our defence industry relayed on one person we would be looser.

Don't worry Turkish defence industry is much more than you realize. The industry is based on hefty technical institutes and human sources. Don't worry we will create new weapons under any circumstances with these engineers.

Let me add;

Ismail Demir's own words;

"A family friend invited me. I didn't even know where it was until I went. A family friend I've known for more than 10 years said, 'Brother, let's have a holiday in a safe place in a pandemic environment'. The owner came and appeared there one day."

In Turkish;
Beni bir aile dostumuz davet etti. Gidene kadar neresi olduğunu dahi bilmiyordum. 10 küsür yıldır tanıdığım bir aile dostum, ‘Abi gel, pandemi ortamında emniyetli yerde tatil yapalım' dedi. Sahibi bir gün geldi göründü orada.

So, if İsmail Demir is saying the truth, he didn't know where until he arrived at the hotel. So, if he doesn't where the hotel was until he arrived at the hotel, it is obvious that he didn't drive but his friend took him there with a vehicle.

Head of the Defence is a person, who can be dragged to anywhere? Weird. Previous owner of this hotel had connections with Armenian, Russian and American mafia.

Yeah, is it so hard to say. If this man committed a crime he should pay the punishment for it?

Apart from who has visited that hotel,i really wonder if i can freely visit the beach. According to the constitution all beaches belong to the public.

I am literalist regarding to the law, if he is quilty let him go in jail, i have no problems with that.
But it would be impossible to prove on any normal court that this situation is criminal offence
YOU. CANT. ACCEPT. GIFTS. AS. A MINISTER. Its prohibted by law.
He himself said the holiday was a personal gift from a ''friend'', he admitted his crime and you still declare him innocent.

Erdogan could tomorrow come out and say that he pocketed those billions and you guys would still somehow make him innocent, you dont know this man, you have no connection to him yet defend him till the end, a very interesting insight into human psychology actually.

you are implying to much, i said earlier if the law is breached, no problem for me to be sanctioned, you just need to read carefully previous posts.
Thing is that this holyday arrangment could not be easily proven as gift to the state clerk, me as total laicite in law could defend it on any court....

Ofcourse it could and there would actually be a case opened against him if Turkish courts were actually independent.

Such a sad thing. I kinda like Ismail Demir. I think he was the first SSM/SSB with relevant background.

I hope more like him has Been Fostered in the past 10 years.

I would never expect this of him. I always thought him as a technocrat.

I would expect from politicians, police officers, journalists, businessman but not from him. I wonder if they born this way, or get corrupted after wielding state power.

He may not be just him, or his free will to go that hotel to meet with someone. So that is why i believe it should be investigated to the fullest. There should be some bigger hand to organize those stuff.

We both know that nothing will be done until Erdogan regime ends and independent judiciary gets restored.
