The State Department has approved a potential $241M foreign military sale of Lockheed Martin-built (NYSE: LMT) Patriot Advanced Capability‑3 Missile Segment Enhancements and related equipment to the Dutch government.

The Netherlands requested to procure 34 units of PAC-3 MSE, missile and empty round trainers, skid kits, spare parts, repair and return processing support, logistics and program support services from the U.S., the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Thursday.

Lockheed will serve as the prime contractor in the transaction that seeks to help the European country fortify its homeland defense, deter regional threats and offer direct support to coalition and security cooperation initiatives.

DSCA said it notified Congress of the deal Thursday.

They wouldn't approve it for Turkey. I reckon the Yanks prefer their bitterballen to our kebabs.
