no that door is not closed kurdistan project is a project of israel's long term security if they back down now we are ok with them and this isolation period is our chance !! YPG must be destroyed !

are you joking ?? syrian government need its oil back to rebuild the county and unlike islamist in turkey they are very natonalist they wont tolerate any kurdish autonmus region if they had a chance to overthrow it which is why they will be very happy to see it gone by the hand of turkey
Im talking about the window of opportunity to deal with the ypg during assads fall and the rebel offensive.

They need money more than anything. Thats how you fund and run an army. Otherwise you will end up like Assad with his forces crumbling. Ypg terrorists have good financial income, what does the Damascus government have? The second they lift a finger against either israel or the ypg they will be sanctioned again. Let alone get bombed by the US.

Looks like Israelis absolutely decapitated Iran’s military leadership and are now trying to destroy the rest of their air defenses. They are trying to attack their missile launchers and facilities and infiltrated the country with their agents.

God knows how much damage they can do to Turkey if they want to considering how many traitors live inside it and how incompetent it’s leadership is…

I always suspected that yassar arafat was compromised, everyone around him was being assassinated except for him. I suspect a similar thing is taking place in Iran with the supreme leader.
US had extensive contact with Ayatollah Khomeini before Iran revolution (Guardian article)

The weakness in intelligence of iran is just as shocking, and that is the one thing I am most afraid of. If we stupid decisions are made like that where force commanders are somehow caught in the same building for whatever reason for an attack I wonder what would happen. The ongoing rapid insitutional erosion is very worrisome in the face of such events.

Also arent the majority of the iranian nuclear facilities underground? wouldnt it be insanely hard for isreal to strike the actual nuclear weapons hold of iran? or is this just a superficial strike to strike fear into the hearts of the iranian military and civilians?

Correct - Iran's important nuclear assets have not been harmed. Israel does not have that capability. I think Israel is counting on US involvement to take those assets.

This is what happens when you spent decades in foriegn adventures, useless proxies and corruption becomes the way you run your country, instead of investing in your people and nation. Whats happening to iran happent to egypt decades ago.

Middle east is a warning to Turkey. if we dont get rid of the corrupt autocrat and islamist running the country we will become an sunni iran.

Indeed it just show how much easy it is to have traitors selling your country out along with incompetence and corruption.

Its even more scary for countries that have warrior traditions and a history of empires like the Turks, Russians, Arabs, Egyptians and the Iranians. You can have warriors and empires but it wont matter shit at all due to technology and infiltrations.

Its pretty scary how much the Jews can infiltrate any where without even firing a shot.

Erdogan has already slowly taken autonomy away from the TSK. Which means Erdogan now has the right to fire generals and commanders at whim. To rise through ranks you gotta lick his b*lls.

There are news about Tabriz being attacked now.

That is a predominantly Azerbaijani Turkish city.

Tabriz was a centre of Turkic culture.

Tabriz has more history than the Zionist state of Israel.

Azerbaijanis were known as the Poets of the Turkic world due to the city of Tabriz.

Welcome to the Middle East where backstabbing is the norm.

Even in Islamic history studies when the Axumite Empire of Abysinnia invaded Makkah. An Arab was willing to sell his own people for a gold coin.

The way I see it the Arabs, Kurds, Iranians and the Israelis are all a threat to Turkiye.

Jemal Pasha who was running the Ottoman army in the Middle East was pretty brutal against the Arabs and the Jews. Now I realised why. So many times both got caught trying to sabotage the Ottoman war effort. Forget TE Lawrence he did not even need to be there to do damage.

That is very unlikely, because Turkey is much more resistant to ultra-Islamic movements than people think. Yes, it has become more conservative than it used to be, but only because we have shifted our identity as a society more towards the east. And yes, the government has actively encouraged this.
But believe me, Europe is not our way, neither in faith nor in social behavior or in any form of justice.
I know it's easy for me to say because I live in Germany, but here neither Turks nor Kurds or Turks/Kurds in combination are treated fairly as Muslims or Alevis or anything like that. The only thing they tolerate in Germany is when a Turk or Kurd drags his own country into the mud. They call that integration.
The next moment, they stab him in the back and still denigrate him.
I prefer a slightly more conservative society with values to a liberal society that seeks to join Europe but is not accepted and is rejected. Neo-Ottomanism is the only available path that works. This does not mean living in a Sharia, but making other countries in the Middle East, Far East and Africa more liberal, at our level and not theirs.

Like I said many times, take the turkishness out of the Turk and you get an iran 2.0. Worthless and would lose against pretty much everyone. Look how they systematicelly destroy the very being of an actual Turk since decades...

Fill the country with a million different and unwanted minorities and make a soup out of this Country and watch what will happen.

There is and will be only one way this Country can be lead, everything else is dogshit.

This is possible in an Iran where you get the death penalty for treason. Now imagine all the possibilities for Mossad in a country where the Government is actively inviting terrorists from the mountains back into the country.
Although I agree with the general sentiment but the first sentence is also one of the main factors in this debacle; the regime has no regard for competence and only cares for ideological conformity and loyalty to the regime, which leads to corruption. This debacle is in large part due to the low quality of the human capital employed by their intelligence services and defence industry. They're so relaxed about lack of scrutiny that they showcase comical and backwards 'tech' all the time if you follow their news, with grandiose claims; they are that relaxed because everyone who could mock and ridicule them for it is silenced, but also those who can modestly criticize. There's always the threat that they will accuse you of treason. Talk to any nationalist and patriotic Iranian and they will put finger on this specific issue in their society.
