HGK-84 kits are really not that hard to build compared to HGK-82 or say Teber kits.

We should remember that Mk-84s are more specific weapons and like all weapons it has its advantages and disadvantages. If TurAF is ordering them in lower numbers, it's not because supplychain but doctrine.

I am still hoping than at least 2 can fit inside of kaan because then we would have deep strike capabilities with Neb 2 Hayalet which can penetrate up to 8 meters of concrete or 60 meters of rock (msb claims). If not we will have to wait for anka 4 with twin engine variant.

Per what was last released, Mk-84 will be carried externally. AFAIK, F-35 is the only fighter that can carry a 2000lbs bomb internally.

Goddamn that impact was brutal. The kinetic energy must be insane, a single hit would absolutely cripple any carrier, you can't say that about standard anti-ship missiles.

We've been talking about whispers of an anti-ship BM for years, great to finally see it in action.

If it has a data link, a KAAN might track an enemy ship at 200 miles away and guide this fast flying beast to the Terminal stage and swiftly leave the danger zone. A kill chain executed within minutes.

Since all fleet operations has to be conducted on move (except maybe landing operations), I assume it must be while the vessel is moving.

Maneuvering to hit a moving ship while flying at hypersonic speeds. So we have now surpassed the level of a ballistic missile that hits a stationary target with pinpoint accuracy (zero deviation).

Bro, fantastic news that they are working on an anti ship ballistic missile. But don’t get too enthusiastic yet.
1. The target was not moving.
2. Have they confirmed the terminal speed to be hypersonic?
3. Did the missile contain explosives?

1. it is a different cattle of fish to hit a moving target. That will come in time. This probably was GOLIS impact.
2. & 3. If the terminal speed was hypersonic, The impact video is awesome. It does look like a very high speed impact.
If the terminal speed was hypersonic, how did they achieve it?

Even if ships move 200-300 meters after the ballistic missile is first launched, the resulting deflection nullifies the destructive effect of the ballistic missile. Here, the chosen target was a small boat. This means the boat would be much faster than a warship. Therefore, the maneuver performed in response to the updated target will also need to adapt accordingly.

Bro, imho the speed at moment of Impact looks like around Mach 3.
