-edit- re FAC, I believe as they are mainly intended to perform hit and run strike with speed and their nimbleness as one of their main defense, they would not last that long if they are to be caught in open area where the enemy can easily spot and hit them

if Golok is intended solely as test bed, that 28 Kts speed does not matter (be it cruising or actual max speed) but if it is intended as an operational warship as well, they need to do something if that 28 Kts is indeed the max speed

with the experience gained in constructing Bintuni class and Tarakan class, hopefully all those private shipyards can be geared up to spam batches of REM type vessels.

so the design was based on the end users' requirement. if the design was flawed then requirements itself were flawed, therefore the burden of blame should not solely put on the company. no need to debate that underlying fact

so the end user basically submit their requirement (which is flawed) and then (luckily) come to realization that their requirement is shyte and request for a revision which (hopefully) will rectify the flaw for good. why it's just another day in this great republic of ours then wkwkwkwk

you know another important matter other than putting more missiles on our warship? can we pay for the fuel? inability to pay the fuel bill properly should also be addressed in my opinion, because that is the reason why we never operate GT engine :D

it's funny really seeing FMP and AH claim that each have more valid information than the others. I think neither can make that claim, as pointed out in one of the post above, we really need to read information posted by both with some grain of salt

I believe a hull will be agnostic to whatever the systems and weaponries that the buyer choose as long as those systems and weaponries fits into the overall architecture of the hull. for example the Naresuan class, it is a chinese hull with US made weapon system installed.

F-16 viper is by no mean a junk product really. If people really want to have access to US' 5th and 6th gen platform they should think whether we are ready to publicly proclaim "PRC can go to hell, we love USA!". I

on the 12.7 mm topic, it is the ultimate ffbnw weapon. Although not listed in the specs, i believe the installation itself is quite simple as it only requires welding a mounting at designated positions, so in no time we can have the ship bristles with 12.7 mm (or FN MAG if you prefer it to the...
