I think numbers right now is more important. If there will be offensive many, many tanks will be blow up on mines, by artillery and in that case there is no difference between T55 and Abrams. Both are out of action.

Abrams from US is not a top priority when there are still few hundreds T72s, PT91 and Leopards that can be delivered. US has tons of other VERY important stuff. Ukraine will need few hundreds of Bradleys from US, tons of Humvees and later of course some F16s or F 18s
