post deleted but still highlighted by another user? Are mods on damage control again like that post i made to Gary before with no insults or anything derogatory (azov nazi wannabes)? Zelensky's soldiers are doing a fine job, perhaps they can send the mobilization letters to users here.

Blackjack mate, it's nice when you bring your words and opinions about the topic, it's a forum so the debate and expression of ideas is the main issue here. If you post docens of random twitter/telegram/reddit stuff without context, locations, dates or without the intention of supporting a recent idea you'll make this to look like a hooligan football match, and it goes against the meaning of the forum and difficulties the reading.

I hope you understand it, TBH even when you laugh about Oryx because it's "western propaganda" and you post Russian MoD official info as the real deal, it's good to give you an answer, and for sure you have the right to express yourself.

Then I can reply: this guy would be much better than Shoygu:

Everybody's fucked, that war will soon come to Yalta.

From someone whose generally willing to see the reality no matter how good or bad, i would have to say that Russia is 99% in the wrong concerning Ukraine. The 1% argument they have is that america is looking to expand her global influence at the expense of Russia, however Russia has always tried to do the same, actually long before America even existed. So even that 1% is open to debate.

From a Ukrainians perspective and ultimately their perspective is the one that matters because they are being attacked and invaded Russia is 100% in the wrong and the wests support collectively is right and good irrespective of whatever Americans ultimate aims and ambitions are.

Well... to be fair white house do something like this too since 2001, but there is no denying Russia do this because of fear of Ukraine attacks.

To summarize this,
Scholz is getting bitched out by Zelensky since he only wants to send Leopards if America sends Abrams 1st. U.S. states oh no we have maintenance issues with our Abrams, now they are asking the latin American countries for soviet tanks for the Ukraine war so they can replace them with their western tanks for free

Holy shit Russia is going to destroy everyone's tanks they will probably go beg India and China at this rate.

The US has thousands of M1A1 and M1A2 Abrams sitting in storage in the Nevada desert. It is hilarious to me to see the US pressuring and blackmailing European countries to give over their precious inventory over to Ukraine to make them even more dependent on the US.

Poland received M1A1 tanks just weeks ago. So why is the US not able to hand them over to Ukraine? „Fixing them up takes time“ nice excuse my man.

Why can’t they do the same for Ukraine? Ukraine could have had hundreds of Abrams delivers by now being used in assaults.

another excuse I saw was how Abrams wasn’t designed for Eastern Europe?! My man those tanks were designed to be used in Europe against the Soviet Union what the hell are you on about.

They make sense for Poland but not for Ukraine? Sure, Jan.

why should countries give away their precious tanks when the country with thousands of tanks in storage can’t be bother to do the same.

The US is clearly using the situation to its own gains. At least as a benefit it helps Ukraine drive away russia from its lands.

You're the only person spamming a dozen tweets in a row from the same account. Nobody is trying to censor you here, frankly many people would appreciate a Russian perspective if it's good quality content, but your goal seems to be just to spam as much content as possible in a day.

How Ukraine gonna secure jet fuel on the field exclusively for them?

Honeywell AGT1500

Specifications

Engine output peaks at 1,500 hp (1,100 kW), with 2,750 lb⋅ft (3,730 N⋅m) of torque at that peak, which occurs at 3,000 rpm. The turbine can provide torque in excess of 667 lb⋅ft (904 N⋅m) at significantly lower RPMs. The engine weighs approximately 2,500 lb (1,100 kg) and occupies a volume of 40 cu ft (1.1 m3), measuring 63 in × 40 in × 28 in (1,600 mm × 1,020 mm × 710 mm).

The engine can use a variety of fuels, including jet fuel, gasoline, diesel and marine diesel.

The engine is a three-shaft machine composed of five sub-modules:

  1. Recuperator – a fixed cylindrical regenerative heat exchanger that extracts waste heat from the exhaust gases and uses it to preheat the compressed air
  2. Rotating Gas Producer – the five-stage, dual-spool compressor which achieves a 14.5:1 compression ratio at full power, driven by the compressor turbine, which operates with a maximum turbine inlet temperature of 2,180 °F (1,190 °C)
  3. Accessory Gearbox – bevel gears that extract 35 to 100 hp (26 to 75 kW) from the high-pressure spool to operate the fuel control unit, starter, oil pump, and vehicle hydraulic pump
  4. Power Turbines – the first stage of the two-stage power turbine is driven by a variable-geometry nozzle to improve efficiency
  5. Reduction Gearbox – reduces power turboshaft speed

As you can see,Diesel can be used.

Abrams from US is not a top priority when there are still few hundreds T72s, PT91 and Leopards that can be delivered.
US has tons of other VERY important stuff. Ukraine will need few hundreds of Bradleys from US, tons of Humvees and later of course some F16s or F 18s

I'm not sure who this guy is or what his record of accuracy is but I am curious if others have any thoughts on the argument made in this interview:

Famous French Historian: “This War is About Germany”

Historian Emmanuel Todd is one of France’s leading public intellectuals. At the age of just 25, he predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union in his book The Final Fall: An Essay on the Decomposition of the Soviet Sphere. Later in his career, he carried out pioneering work on family structure and how it impacts societal development.
Now at the age of 71, Todd doesn’t seem to mind ruffling feathers – as his remarks in a recent interview with Swiss magazine Weltwoche make clear. “I’ll give you the first interview because you write in German,” he begins by saying. “This war is about Germany.”
About Germany? What does he mean? Todd explains:
The financial crisis of 2008 made it clear that with reunification Germany became the leading power in Europe and thus also a rival of the USA. Until 1989 it was politically a dwarf. Now Berlin showed its willingness to get involved with the Russians. Combating this rapprochement became a priority of American strategy. The United States had always made it clear that they wanted to torpedo the gas agreement. The expansion of NATO in Eastern Europe was not primarily directed against Russia, but against Germany.
Asked who sabotaged the Nord Stream pipelines, Todd replies, “Of course the Americans. But that is completely unimportant. It is normal.” The important question is, “How can a society believe that it could have been the Russians?”

“We are dealing here with an inversion of possible reality,” says Todd. “The newspapers tell us how the Russians are shooting at prisons they have occupied. That they shoot at nuclear power plants that they control locally. That they blow up pipelines that they built themselves.”
It’s clear, then, that Todd subscribes to the theory I first discussed back in August: that the U.S. deliberately provoked conflict between Russia and Ukraine to sabotage the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, thereby ending (or at least severely curtailing) Russo-European interdependence.

Unfortunately, Todd doesn’t provide any specific evidence to back up his provocative claims. So the theory remains speculative. Of course, this doesn’t mean we should accept the conventional narrative that America just really cares about democracy.

So what, in Todd’s view, should be done? “I wish the Germans would understand: The side of the good they want to be on this time is not that of the United States,” he says. “The good means: end this war.”
While Todd certainly represents a minority viewpoint among Western intellectuals, as he himself acknowledges, it’s still worth considering.

With optimum output?
If diesel works, uS army would use diesel too all this time.

Always better then the old soviet tanks, dont you think?
Speed is really not an issue in Ukraine, the power of force is more important.

I think numbers right now is more important.
If there will be offensive many, many tanks will be blow up on mines, by artillery and in that case there is no difference between T55 and Abrams. Both are out of action.
