I don't know much about the different ballistic missile products of Iran. Do you know how many ballistic missiles did Iranians have(or claims to have) that are equivalent to Tayfun and Cenk in range and(or) in payload if I may ask?

we're going in circles. That post simply says the first delivery will begin in 11-12 years. It does not provide any rationale for the seemingly late deliveries. That was the origin of my speculation in the first place.

What does ready mean in this context? is it the first firing of the engine? is it the first flight? is it the LRIP? or is it the serial production? Do you actually have this information, or is it speculation?

I know. I wrote "KAAN's export" explicitly. KAAN being a true 5th gen is contingent on the Turkish engine. If the engine is not ready for Indonesians by that date, it won't be ready for us either.

If the bottleneck is the availability of a Turkish engine and that sets the first delivery date of KAAN's export to 2036, then it's not good news for us either.

ok I totally forgot about this. so it's been flying two and a half years now without much expansion of the flight envelope. also, in the footage it has no landing gear bay doors for the main gears, much like AKINCI. That needs to change if we're aiming for stealth and supersonic flight.

it's the fourth prototype and they still have no functioning landing gear mechanism to fold them in. they can't push the envelope when the legs are dangling below.
