The Rotax engine doesn't have high-altitude capability. It is not possible to climb to 30000+ feet with a Rotax engine. Prototypes of the BM-100 engine were produced in 2024 and Baykar wants to deliver the first TB2 with BM100 engine in 2025. There is a problem though BM100 uses a lot of COTS...

BTW, the FNSS contract value is 65 million $ so 2.6 million $ for each vehicle. Cost-effectiveness is off the charts for such a good platform.

Currently, the best IFV we have is Pars Alpha with an overall slight edge over Arma II. Those two are close and Altuğ is behind with a big margin. Arma II is expensive so Pars Alpha also offers the best price-to-performance ratio.

The problem is that Altuğ scored very low on field performance tests and it is also not cheap so it doesn't win on that front either. This 25-vehicle order is like giving BMC another 2 years to patch up Altuğ. The real order is postponed to 2027-2028.

T2 will compete against AbramsX, KF51 Panter, K3 etc. Good luck competing against those with T2 in the 2030s.
