Is Pakistan more stable than India?

Given that your entire posts generally oscillate between infantile and juvenile, feel free to add whatever you wish. The Dalits are in considerably better shape than the Ahmadiyas, Sikhs, Hindus and Christians in Pakistan. One our greatest revered founding fathers Dr. Ambedkar was a Dalit. He...

Is Pakistan more stable than India?

What is the percentage which is returning? The lower castes are a powerful voting block. Even Modi is of a lower caste. Compare that to the poor Ahmadiya Muslims in Pakistan. They can't even call themselves Muslims and are killed for their beliefs all the time.

Is Pakistan more stable than India?

Sure. That's why so many Pakistanis move to India. https://in.reuters.com/article/refugee-day-india-citizenship-widerimage-idINKBN23N3JB Infact, not just minorities - the minute a Muslim steps out of his house in Pakistan, he is less safe than he would be in India.

Is Pakistan more stable than India?

Lol. This is what happens when you suffer from selective amnesia. This is economic aid. Combine economic aid with military aid and let's see the figures. Also the Saudis matched dollar for dollar military aid during the Afghan war. Isn't it? That's besides all the Chinese loans, Arab loans...

Is Pakistan more stable than India?

Pakistan is basically a country which has survived on the doles handed out to it by whoever is giving them money at that point in their history. This has to do with with the duplicitous and contrary nature of its rulers beginning with its founder Jinnah. While the people he uprooted on either...

I don't see how it was a stalemate since India achieved all its objectives and Pakistan achieved none of theirs.

Lol. Good thing the Brits didn't see themselves as mice when taking on the Argentines in the Falklands or the might of the Nazi Germany in WW2. I guess it is a matter of perspective and self confidence. Some nations view themselves as rodents and then act like them. To each his own. Hahaha

Lol @ Modi fans. By the way, his fan base is dwindling albeit at a glacial pace.

@Joe Shearer is better suited to answer. I went thru a lot of physical books and old microfilm and microfiche newspapers in the 1990s about the 65 war. But if I remember correctly, the Americans actually asked India to stop the advance to Lahore so they could evacuate their citizens. On...

Also I think given that his family didn't latch on and he was no where near as charismatic as Nehru and also had a pretty short tenure, our country tends to forget what a fine leader Shastri was. Tbh, if I had to rank Indian PMs, he would be #1, followed by Vajpayee and #3 being Nehru.

I support it. It was high time someone bit the bullet. The clampdown on rights was also to be expected. It's unfortunate and I wouldn't want my fellow citizens in Kashmir to be in lockdown mode for long. Pak isn't going to be able to do anything about it.

I agree that this is the general consensus. A bit charitable to call 1965 a stalemate. But then again, India is known for its largesse.

    Pakistan and South-Central Asia

I reckon the downfall of Modi will be his duffer trigger happy Home Minister Amit Shah. Modi is by and large illiterate and doesn't think too much. Almost all the acts drawing international criticism are the brainchild of Amit Shah.

    Pakistan and South-Central Asia

One thing Pakistan must surely do in South Asia is to issue a formal apology for the genocide of erstwhile East Pakistanis (now Bangladeshis) in one of the worst pogroms since the genocide during WW2.

It's going to be a massive challenge. Modi has also antagonized a lot of state CMs and satraps probably like no PM before him ever has.

    Kashmir news (Pakistan focus).

It's a lost cause. They had their one and only chance in 1965. Even they know they aren't getting anything.

I agree. But I would prefer if firms like Mahindra, L&T and Tata are more involved than a firm run by Govt. bureaucrats.
