At a webinar that I was invited to watch today Turkey was cited as an emerging VTOL manufacturer by AviationWeek editor Graham Warwick and some other industry news frontrunners. Nothing that we don't know but it was particularly emphasized as existing makers and newcomer Turkey.

They are wiser than that as they take price into consideration and especially Canik TP9 pistols are no brainers. Canik alone sells like 330k pistols a year (2020 election year). They are well respected and many people ditch Glocks and pick up Caniks for their price and quality.

No, it is not worth it. Unless we go for smaller UAVs rather than large manned planes. A 4-5 ton VTOL UAV carrying small precision weapons will be perfect for our navy and offshore bases.
