In a calmer environment, with better leadership and if the Northern Cypriots are willing, I think it could very well be a possibility. I mean if Israel can annex Golan, Russian Crimea, we sure have a better claim on N. Cyprus.

The Cypriots should make their own shots, Turkish Cyprus is not a vassal of Turkey. I wouldn't mind them joining Turkey, but that's their decision to make that has to be respected. But that being said, the Greek Cypriots seems to have lost interest in a unification anyway.

The planned pipeline is going through Turkish waters, even by Greek definitions of the EEZ. The gas prices are low and the long ass pipeline is expensive, I dont think it will be realized anytime soon.

I like the Greek people, but all of these tensions will lead to Greece needing another bailout. Turkeys finances are already strained too, so there are only a handful of countries benefiting from the conflict. France being one of them. It would be in the interest of both countries to solve this...

Agree with most of it. You know the one country we should get aboard is Italy, because they do have an interest in keeping France from dominating the Med or EastMed.

I said it before, but legalized and regulated weed would take a lot of revenue away from the PKK. I know there is legalized weed now for non recreational purposes but we need to take the last step too. Helalize it.
